Eprimek injection 100ml
DESCRIPTION
Eprimek is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic drug for combating nematodes and arachno-entomoses in cattle, deer, camels, pigs, small ruminants, cats and dogs. In appearance Eprimek is a clear, yellowish solution for injection. Packaged in 100 ml glass bottles, packed in cardboard boxes.
COMPOSITION
The drug in 1 ml contains 10 mg of eprinomectin as an active ingredient and auxiliary components: dimethylacetomide, benzyl alcohol and triglycerides.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Eprimek has a wide spectrum of antiparasitic action on the imaginal and larval phases of development of nematodes of the gastrointestinal tract and lungs, as well as on sarcoptoid ticks, insects and gadfly larvae. Eprinomectin disrupts the work of glutamate-sensitive chlorine channels of cell membranes, as well as gamma-aminobutyric acid receptors in roundworms, ticks and gadfly larvae. A change in the current of chlorine ions through the membranes of nerve and muscle cells disrupts the conduction of impulses, which leads to paralysis and death of parasites. Eprimek is excreted from the body mainly with feces and urine. According to the degree of impact on the body, Eprimek belongs to low-hazard substances and, in recommended doses, does not have an embryotoxic, teratogenic and sensitizing effect. The drug is toxic to fish, aquatic organisms and bees.
