DESCRIPTION
Enrovirinum (Enrovirinum) - a veterinary drug used by young cattle and small cattle, pigs, dogs and cats with infections of mixed etiology. In appearance, the preparation is a clear liquid from light yellow to yellow color without mechanical impurities.
COMPOSITION
1.0 ml of the drug contains 55.0 mg of enrofloxacin, 25.0 mg of ribavirin, 10.0 mg of trimethoprim, excipients and solvent up to 1.0 ml. 1.0 ml of the drug contains 55.0 mg of enrofloxacin, 25, 0 mg ribavirin, 10.0 mg trimethoprim, excipients and solvent up to 1.0 ml.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Enrofloxacin, which is part of the drug, belongs to the group of fluoroquinolones. Possesses a wide spectrum of antibacterial and antimycoplasmous action, inhibits the growth and development of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including Escherichia coli, Haemophilus spp., Pasteurella spp., Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Borstridium spp. Spp., Clostridium perfringens. ., Corynebacterium pyogenes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Mycoplasma spp.
The mechanism of action of enrofloxacin is based on inhibition of the activity of the enzyme DNA gyrase, which affects the replication of the DNA helix in the nucleus of a bacterial cell, which leads to disruption of protein synthesis, suppression of the growth and development of microorganisms.
Ribavirin has an antiviral effect, is active against DNA and RNA viruses, inhibits the synthesis of nucleic acids and prevents the multiplication of viruses. Ribavirin easily penetrates into cells affected by the virus and is rapidly phosphorylated by intracellular adenosine kinase into ribavirin mono-, di- and triphosphate, which have pronounced antiviral activity.
Trimethoprim is a derivative of diaminopyrimidine, has a slow bactericidal effect against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms and toxoplasma, reversibly inhibits bacterial dihydrofolate reductase, disrupts the synthesis of tetrahydrofolic acid from dihydrofolic acid, the formation of purine and pyrimidine bases, thereby suppressing the growth of microorganic acids.
The drug is well and quickly absorbed from the injection site and penetrates into all organs and tissues of the body. The maximum concentration is reached within 1 - 2 hours after administration and lasts for 6 hours. Excreted from the body in urine and bile.
