DESCRIPTION
Enrosept oral solution is an antimicrobial drug in the form of a solution for oral administration. Enrosept oral solution is a clear yellow solution.
COMPOSITION
1 ml of which contains 100 mg of enrofloxacin as an active ingredient, as well as auxiliary components.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Enrofloxacin, the active ingredient of Enrosept oral solution, has a wide spectrum of antimicrobial action on gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including Escherichia, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Klebsiella, Pseudomonas, Bordetellus, Campylostridobacterium, and. Enrosept oral solution is effective against pathogens resistant to tetracyclines, aminoglycosides, macrolides, chloramphenicol, sulfonamides and trimethoprim. Enrofloxacin inhibits the activity of the enzyme DNA gyrase, which plays an important role in the replication of the DNA of a bacterial cell, resulting in its death.
Enrosept oral solution is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and penetrates into all organs and tissues of animals. The therapeutic concentration after a single injection is maintained for 24 hours. It is excreted through the kidneys. Enrosept oral solution is low-toxic for warm-blooded animals.
INDICATIONS
Enrosept oral solution is used for farm animals and birds for diseases of the respiratory system, digestive tract and genitourinary system caused by bacteria and mycoplasmas (colidiarrhea, colisepticemia, pasteurellosis, salmonellosis, staphylococcosis, mycoplasmosis, pneumonia and other campylosis, enzootic syndrome).
The drug is prescribed for young cattle, sheep, goats, as well as poultry. Enrosept oral solution is administered orally mixed with milk or milk replacer.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Enrosept oral solution is administered orally mixed with milk or milk replacer. The dose of the drug is 0.25 ml per 10 kg of animal weight (2.5 mg / kg of enrofloxacin).
In severe cases of the disease and with salmonellosis, the dose is doubled - 0.5 ml per 10 kg of body weight. The drug is administered once a day for 3-5 days. It is given to the bird with drinking water at the rate of 50 ml of a 10% solution per 100 liters of water. Treatment lasts 3 days, and with salmonellosis - 5 days. During the treatment period, the bird should receive only water containing Enrosept.
SIDE EFFECTS
Side effects and complications when using Enrosept oral solution are not observed. The use of Enrosept oral solution for milking animals is not allowed due to its excretion with milk and laying hens.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed no earlier than 14 days after the last use of the drug (poultry - no earlier than 11 days). The simultaneous use of Enrosept with bacteriostatic antibiotics (tetracyclines, macrolides, levomycetin), theophylline and steroids is not allowed.
