Enronit 100ml
DESCRIPTION
A complex drug with high efficiency in the fight against colibacillosis, to which resistance is slowly developing, due to the synergistic effect of enrofloxacin and colistin, in contrast to monopreparations.
In appearance, the drug is a clear or opalescent solution of light yellow color.
Produced in the form of a sterile solution, packaged in 100 ml in hermetically sealed vials.
ADVANTAGES
More effective than monopreparations based on enrofloxacin with a comparable cost of treatment.
The slow addiction of microorganisms in comparison with monopreparations based on enrofloxacin allows the drug to be used for a long time.
High efficiency in the fight against colibacillosis - 91.4%.
The components of the drug have a synergistic effect.
COMPOSITION
In 1 ml of enrofloxacin 50 mg in 1 ml, colistin sulfate 500,000 IU.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Enrofloxacin and colistin sulfate included in Enronit have a synergistic effect, provide a wide spectrum of antimicrobial activity of the drug against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. The mechanism of action of enrofloxacin is based on inhibition of the activity of the enzyme gyrase, which affects the replication of the DNA helix in the nucleus of a bacterial cell, which leads to disruption of protein synthesis and suppression of the growth and development of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, incl. Escherichia coli, Haemophilus spp., Pasteurella spp., Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Clostridium perfringens, Bordetella spp., Campylobacter spp., Corynebacterium pyogenes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and spp. Colistin sulfate disrupts the permeability of the bacterial cell wall by combining with lipoproteins, which leads to a change in intracellular metabolism and causes the death of gram-negative bacteria, incl. Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella spp, Salmonella spp., Proteus spp.
Enronite is rapidly absorbed from the injection site and penetrates into most organs and tissues of the animal. The maximum concentration of enrofloxacin in the blood serum is reached after 1-2 hours, colistin sulfate - after 1 hour. Enrofloxacin and colistin are excreted from the body, mainly unchanged, mainly with feces and, partially, with urine.
INDICATIONS
Enronit is prescribed to calves, lambs and piglets for the treatment of colibacillosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, respiratory and other diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to enrofloxacin and colistin, for adult pigs - for the treatment of atrophic rhinitis, enzootic pneumonia and mastitis-metritis-agalactia syndrome.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Enronit is administered subcutaneously to calves and lambs, intramuscularly to pigs in a dose of 0.5 ml per 10 kg of animal weight once a day for 3-5 days; sows with mastitis-metritis-agalactia syndrome - within 1-2 days. Due to a possible painful reaction, more than 5 ml of the drug should not be injected into one place for calves and pigs, more than 2.5 ml for lambs and pigs.
LIMITATIONS
Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed no earlier than 21 days. In the event of the forced slaughter of animals before the established deadline, the meat can be used as feed for fur animals.
