Enromag 5% injectable 100ml
DESCRIPTION
Enromag (Enromag) - for the treatment of animal diseases of bacterial and mycoplasma etiology.
COMPOSITION
Enromag in 1 ml as an active ingredient contains enrofloxacin - 50 mg or 100 mg and auxiliary substances: butyl alcohol - 30 mg, potassium hydroxide (to adjust the pH) and water for injection - up to 1 ml.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Enromag refers to antibacterial drugs of the fluoroquinolone group. Enrofloxacin, which is a part of the drug, is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria of the following species: E. coli, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Pasteurella, Pseudomonas, Proteus, Bordetella, Brucella! Chlamydia, Enterobacter Campylobacter, Erysipeloids ,. Corynebacterium 'Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Actinobacillus, Clostridium, Bacteroides' Fusobacterium, and also mycoplasmas.
The mechanism of bactericidal action of enrofloxacin is based on the ability to inhibit the activity of the enzyme gyrase, which ensures DNA replication in a bacterial cell.
When administered intramuscularly, enrofloxacin is rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream and penetrates into almost all organs and tissues, reaching a maximum concentration in 0.5-1 hour after administration.
The therapeutic concentration of enrofloxacin after a single injection remains in the body for 24 hours. Enrofloxacin is excreted from the body mainly unchanged and partly in the form of a metabolite - ciprofloxacin, mainly in the urine.
According to the degree of impact on the body, Enromag belongs to moderately hazardous substances (hazard class 3 according to GOST 12.1.007-76).
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Enromag is prescribed to large and small ruminants, pigs, dogs, cats and rabbits for the treatment of bronchopneumonia, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, mycoplasmosis and other diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to fluoroquinolones, as well as for the treatment of atrophic mastitis syndrome in pigs, and enzyme metritis agalactia.
The drug is administered to animals subcutaneously (pigs - intramuscularly) once a day for 3-5 days at the doses indicated in the table:

* for the listed species of animals it is not recommended to use a 10% solution.
For sows with mastitis-metritis-agalactia syndrome, the drug is administered for 1-2 days.
In connection with a possible painful reaction, more than 5 ml of the drug should not be injected into one place for large animals, more than 2.5 ml for small animals.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
The peculiarities of the action of the drug during its first use and withdrawal were not revealed.
Skipping the next dose of the drug should be avoided, as this can lead to a decrease in therapeutic efficacy. If one dose is missed, the drug should be resumed as soon as possible in the same dosage and according to the same scheme.
Slaughter of pigs, cattle and small ruminants for meat is allowed no earlier than 14 days after the last injection of the drug.
The meat of animals forced to be killed before the expiration of the specified period can be used after heat treatment for feeding fur-bearing animals.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Contraindication to the use of Enromag is the increased individual sensitivity of the animal to fluoroquinolones (including a history).
The use of the drug in dairy animals is prohibited, due to the release of enrofloxacin in milk.
It is not allowed to use Enromag in case of significant disorders in the development of cartilage tissue, lesions of the nervous system, accompanied by convulsions, for puppies and kittens until the end of their growth period, as well as for females during pregnancy and lactation.
SIDE EFFECTS
When using Enromag in accordance with this instruction, side effects and complications are usually not observed. In the event of allergic reactions, the use of the drug is discontinued and antihistamines and symptomatic drugs are prescribed to the animal.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Store the drug in a closed manufacturer's package in a dry place protected from direct sunlight, separate from food and feed, at a temperature of 5 В° C to 25 В° C.
The shelf life of the medicinal product, subject to storage conditions, is 3 years from the date of manufacture.
PACKAGING
Enromag is produced packaged in 100 ml bottles in glass bottles of appropriate capacity, sealed with rubber stoppers, reinforced with aluminum caps.
