Enroflon 5% injection 100ml

DESCRIPTION

Enroflon injection solution in appearance is a clear, sterile solution of slightly yellowish color.

COMPOSITION AND FORM OF ISSUE

Contains 100 mg of enrofloxacin in 1 ml.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Enrofloxacin belongs to the group of fluoroquinolones and has a broad spectrum of antibacterial action, inhibits the growth and development of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including E. coli, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Pasteurella, Pseudomonas, Bordetella, Campylobacter, Stinobacterium Streptococcus, Corynecoccus, Clostridium, Bacteroides, Fusobacterium, and Mycoplasma spp. The drug is well and quickly absorbed from the injection site and penetrates into all organs and tissues of the body. The maximum concentration of the drug in the blood is reached in 0.5 - 1 hour after the administration of enroflon and is maintained for 4 - 6 hours, and the therapeutic concentration - for 24 hours.

INDICATIONS

Bronchopneumonia, colibacillosis, salmonellosis and other diseases of calves, lambs and pigs caused by microorganisms sensitive to fluoroquinolones. Atrophic rhinitis, enzootic pneumonia and mastitis-metritis-agalactia syndrome in pigs.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

The drug is administered once a day to calves and lambs subcutaneously, and to piglets intramuscularly at a dose of 2.5 - 5 mg / kg of body weight for 3 - 5 days, and for mastitis-metritis-agalactia - 2.5 mg / kg of animal weight in within 1 - 2 days. In one place, no more than 10 ml is injected for calves, no more than 5 ml for lambs, and no more than 2.5 ml for piglets.

SIDE EFFECTS

Not observed in recommended doses.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

The simultaneous use of enroflon with chloramphenicol, tetracyclines, theophylline, steroids, as well as animals during pregnancy is not allowed.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 14 days after the last use of the drug. The meat of animals that are forcedly killed before the expiration of the specified period is used directly for feeding carnivores or for the production of meat and bone meal.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

List B. In a dry, dark place and out of reach of children and animals, separately from food and feed at temperatures from 5 to 30 В° C. The shelf life is 3 years.
