Enemaxal rectal solution, 120ml

  • Constipation;

  • preparation for endoscopic examination of the rectum;

  • preparation for X-ray examination of the abdominal organs;

  • preparation for surgical operations on the abdominal organs for childbirth.

Rectally, 120 ml (1 bottle).

Remove the cap from the bottle. Wrap the applicator together with the protective cap onto the bottle, lie on the left side, bending the right leg at the knee, remove the protective cap from the lubricated tip of the bottle and gently insert the tip into the anus, pushing with slight force towards the navel. Squeeze out the contents of the bottle and remove the tip from the anus. It is not necessary to squeeze the contents out to the end, since the bottle contains 15 ml of excess drug. It is recommended to keep the drug in the intestine for 8-10 minutes. The recommended position of the body should be maintained until the onset of the urge to empty.

If after treatment there is no improvement or the symptoms worsen or new symptoms appear, you should consult your doctor. Use the drug only according to the method of administration and in the doses indicated in the instructions.

Pharmacodynamics:

EnemaxalЃ is a saline laxative effect of which is based on an increase in water retention in the intestinal lumen using osmotic processes. The accumulation of fluid in the intestine leads to increased peristalsis and subsequent emptying of the intestine. The onset of the effect is 5-7 minutes after administration.

Indications:

  • Constipation;

  • preparation for endoscopic examination of the rectum;

  • preparation for X-ray examination of the abdominal organs;

  • preparation for surgical operations on the abdominal organs for childbirth.

Contraindications:

  • Individual hypersensitivity

  • intestinal obstruction

  • bowel perforation

  • acute hemorrhoids

  • anal fissures

  • acute inflammatory and / or ulcerative lesions of the distal gastrointestinal tract

  • childhood.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Clinical studies in pregnant women have not been conducted, therefore, the use of the drug is not recommended and is possible according to indications when the potential benefit outweighs the risk of use.

Method of administration and dosage:

Rectally, 120 ml (1 bottle).

Side effects:

Overdose:

Overdose with the rectal route of administration is unlikely. Diarrhea may occur; imbalance in water and electrolyte balance; dehydration.

Interaction:

Not found.

However, you should consult your doctor if the patient is taking anticoagulants, digitalis drugs, ciprofloxacin, etidronate, sodium polystyrenesulfonate, or tetracycline antibiotics.

If you are using the above or other drugs (including over-the-counter), consult your doctor before using Clean-up.

Packaging:

120 ml in a polyethylene enema bottle for single use, sealed with a screw-on polyethylene lid or an applicator for rectal administration made of high-pressure polyethylene equipped with a protective cap. Applicator for rectal administration, polyethylene with a one-sided permeable rubber pad or without a pad with a protective cap or without a protective cap in a polyethylene bag. It is allowed to pack the applicator without a plastic bag. Packaging without an applicator is allowed.

A label made of label paper or writing paper or a self-adhesive label is attached to the bottle.

Each bottle, along with instructions for medical use, is placed in a cardboard box.
