DESCRIPTION

Endometramag-TВ® is a complex drug for the prevention and treatment of various forms of endometritis in cows. The drug is a light yellow opalescent liquid.

COMPOSITION

The composition of the drug includes: macrolide antibiotic, agents that enhance the contraction of the myometrium, excipients and a solvent.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Endometramag-TВ® has a bactericidal effect against gram-positive (cocci, corynobacteria, clostridia, erysipelotrix) and some gram-negative microorganisms (pasteurella, hemophilus, brucella), vibrios, leptospira, rickettsia, spirochetes, mycoplasma and chlamydia.

The drug enhances the contractility of the uterine myometrium.

The drug has a pronounced wound-healing effect, does not have a local irritating effect and is low-toxic for warm-blooded animals in the recommended doses.

The drug belongs to the 4th hazard class - low-hazard substances in accordance with the classification of GOST 12.1.007-76.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

Endometramag-TВ® is used for the prevention and treatment of endometritis in cows.

When treating various forms of endometritis, the drug is administered intrauterinely at a dose of 50-150 ml using a Janet syringe at intervals of 24 hours until clinical recovery. The course of treatment is 3-5 injections. The criterion for clinical recovery is considered: improvement of the general condition of animals, lowering body temperature to a physiological norm, restoration of appetite, pronounced involution of the uterus, absence of inflammation of the external genital organs and cessation of discharge from the genitals. In the treatment of chronic and subclinical endometritis, before the administration of the drug, it is necessary to perform rectal enveloping massage of the uterus for 1.5-2.0 minutes.

For the prevention of postpartum obstetric diseases, the drug is used once intrauterinely in a dose of 50-150 ml with the help of Janet's syringe after separation of the placenta, abortions, or assistance in complications and pathological childbirth.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Milk obtained from animals during the treatment period and within a day after the last administration of the drug is prohibited for use for food purposes.

Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed no earlier than 4 days after the termination of the drug. The meat of animals that were forcedly killed before the expiration of the specified period, after heat treatment, can be used for feeding fur animals or for the production of meat and bone meal.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 5 В° C to 25 В° C. The shelf life, subject to storage conditions, is 1 year from the date of manufacture. It is forbidden to use Endometramag-TВ® after its expiration date.

PACKAGING

The drug is produced in 1.0 l bottles in polyethylene canisters of appropriate capacity. The vials are sealed with rubber stoppers and rolled with aluminum caps. Polyethylene canisters are closed with plastic screw caps with first opening control.

Each primary packaging unit is marked with an indication of the manufacturing organization, its address and trademark, the name of the medicinal product, the volume in the bottle or canister, the batch number (including the date of manufacture), the shelf life, storage conditions, the inscription 'For animals', the method of application, designations of the organization's standard and provide instructions for use.
