DESCRIPTION
Endometramag Bio is a drug for the prevention and treatment of endometritis in cows. In appearance, the drug is a slightly opalescent yellow liquid.
COMPOSITION
The drug in 1 ml contains propranolol hydrochloride - 15 mg as active ingredients, benzethonium chloride - 0.75 mg, as well as auxiliary substances: propylene glycol, methylcellulose, disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (Trilon B) and purified water.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Endometramag-Bio refers to antiseptic drugs.
Propranolol - the active ingredient of Endometramaga-Bio - enhances the contractility of the uterine myometrium, and benzethonium chloride has a bactericidal effect against gram-positive and some gram-negative microorganisms. Benzethonium is active against yeast and a number of fungi, as well as some extracellular weeds.
The drug has no cauterizing effect on the mucous membrane of the uterus and promotes endometrial regeneration.
In recommended doses, the drug is well tolerated by animals, does not: induce a local irritating effect, does not have an embryotoxic, ratogenic and hepatotoxic effect.
The components of the preparation are poorly absorbed through the mucous membrane of the uterus, and prevents their accumulation in animal products and milk.
Endometramag-Bio, according to the degree of impact on the body, refers to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to the classification of GOST 1.007-76).
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Endometramag-Bio is used to treat endometritis in cows and to prevent postpartum obstetric diseases.
Before the administration of the drug, the external suture organs are sanitized. If necessary, the uterine cavity is freed from inflammatory exudate.
50-150 ml of endometramag-bio are taken into Janet's syringe. A glove is put on the hand for rectal fixation of the cervix and the drug is carefully injected through the cervix into the uterine cavity. Re-treatment is carried out after 48 hours.The course of treatment is 3-5 intrauterine injections until the clinical condition of the animal improves, which is determined visually by the state of the external genital organs, the absence of secretions, after rectal examination and confirmation of sufficient involution of the uterus, the general clinical picture of recovery (improved appetite, lowering the temperature to the physiological norm, etc.). For the prevention of endometritis in cows after separation of the placenta, after pathological or complicated childbirth and abortion, the drug is indicated in the same dose.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Slaughter of cows for meat when using the drug is allowed no earlier than after 2 days. Meat and by-products of animals that were forcedly killed before the expiration of the specified periods can be used as feed for fur animals. Milk from dairy cows is used without any restrictions.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
It is prohibited to use the drug if the animal is hypersensitive to the components of the drug.
SIDE EFFECTS
In very rare cases, with increased individual sensitivity to the drug, signs of intolerance may appear.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
The shelf life of the medicinal product, subject to storage conditions, is 1 year from the date of production. It is prohibited to use the medicinal product after the expiration date.
Store the medicinal product in the manufacturer's sealed packaging in a place protected from direct sunlight, separately from food and feed products, at a temperature of 5 В° C to 25 В° C.

Endometramag-Bio is produced packaged in 1 liter each in polyethylene canisters of appropriate capacity, sealed with threaded plastic lids with a first opening control ring. Each consumer package is supplied with instructions for use.
