Drug interactions

The drug contains iron and calcium, therefore, it delays the absorption of antibiotics from the tetracyclines group in the intestine, as well as antimicrobial agents - fluoroquinolone derivatives.

Vitamin C enhances the action and side effects of antimicrobial agents from the sulfonamide group (including the appearance of crystals in the urine).

Antacids containing aluminum, magnesium, calcium, and cholestyramine reduce the absorption of iron.

With the simultaneous administration of diuretics from the thiazide group, the likelihood of hypercalcemia increases.

If it is necessary to take other medications in combination with Elevit Pronatal, an interval of about 2 hours should be observed between taking.
