Description:

Pieces of roots and rhizomes of various shapes.The color is grayish-brown, yellowish-gray or yellowish-white, with grayish-brown inclusions. The smell is aromatic. The taste of water extracting spicy, slightly bitter.

Pharmacological action

Infusion of elecampane of rhizomes and roots has an expectorant effect.

Indications for use:

Used in adults and children over 12 years of age as an expectorant for diseases of the upper respiratory tract.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the drug, kidney disease, pregnancy, lactation, children under 12 years of age.

Method of administration and dosage:

2 filter bags (3.0 g) are placed in a glass or enamel dish, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) boiling water, cover and infuse for 15 minutes, periodically pressing the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them ... The volume of the resulting infusion is brought up to 100 ml with boiled water.

Is it taken orally warm by? glasses 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is 2 weeks.

It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.
