Efa moisture resistant briquettes (9 briquettes) 120g
DESCRIPTION
EFA rodenticidal agent is a ready-made food bait in the form of a light-gray to brown paraffin briquette. The death of rodents occurs in 4-11 days, although they can receive a lethal dose within 1-2 days. Efa paraffin briquette has high rodenticidal activity against:
rats
mice
voles
COMPOSITION
Ethylphenacin - 0.015%, food components, paraffin.
PURPOSE
Rodenticidal agent is intended to combat gray and black rats, house mice, is used on objects and premises of various types and purposes, as well as on undeveloped areas.
METHOD OF APPLICATION AND DOSAGE
Efa paraffin briquettes are used in premises for various purposes, with the exception of those where direct contact with children is possible. It can be used in rooms with high humidity and as long-term points of poisoning.
Ready-made Efa bait in metered briquettes is laid out in the habitats of rodents. Depending on the number of rodents, the bait is laid out in 1-2 briquettes at a distance of 2-3 meters for mice and 4-5 meters for rats.
After 2-3 days, check the placement points and in those places where the bait has been eaten, spread out 3-4 briquettes again. Briquettes untouched elsewhere can be transferred to where the bait is completely eaten. The processing of the object (room) is finished when the bait remains uneaten in all places of its placement.
The consumption rate of briquettes varies with the size of the room and the number of rodents. For small isolated rooms where there is no influx of rodents from outside, 6-12 pieces of bait per 100m are enough... For rooms with a high number and the possibility of rodent penetration from the outside, briquettes are added as needed.
In damp and hard-to-reach rooms, laid out briquettes can be left for prophylactic purposes for a long time.
30 days after the start of work, an efficiency study is carried out. The remains of uneaten (spoiled) bait are collected in tightly closed containers (plastic bags, glass or metal cans, etc.) for subsequent burial or incineration.
PRECAUTIONS
Trained personnel at least 18 years old who have undergone special instructions and do not suffer from blood and liver diseases are allowed to work with the product in production conditions.
All manipulations with the product should be carried out in overalls and rubber gloves, avoiding contact with the mouth, eyes and skin.
Lay out the bait with special tweezers (plastic spoon) or with your hands protected with rubber gloves.
The bait in the places of its layout should be out of reach of children and pets. People living or working in the processed objects should be notified about the presence of poisonous bait at the object and about the observance of precautions.
The bait placement points should be numbered, which allows you to control the placement places and carefully remove the remains of the laid out bait at the end of the deratization work.
When using the product, observe the rules of personal hygiene, do not smoke or eat. After finishing work, wash hands and gloves thoroughly with warm water and soap. After carrying out deratization measures of dead rodents, inedible remains of the product should be burned or buried in the ground to a depth of 0.5 m.
FIRST AID MEASURES
Due to the high toxicity of the active substance (ethylphenacin) of Efa paraffin briquettes, when the bait enters the human body, poisoning is possible, the signs of which are: headache, nausea, general weakness; in the future, the appearance of bleeding gums and hemorrhages on the skin.
The victim should be immediately removed from contact with the bait and measures should be taken to remove the poison from the body. If it enters the stomach, the victim should immediately be given a few glasses of water to drink, and then induce vomiting by mechanical irritation of the posterior pharyngeal wall. Then take an adsorbent (10-15 crushed tablets of activated carbon per glass of water) and a saline laxative (1 tablespoon of Glauber's salt per 2 glasses of water). At the end of the procedures, give the victim strong sweet tea with ascorbic acid.)
If the product comes in contact with the skin, wash it thoroughly with warm water and soap.
In case of contact with eyes, they should be rinsed abundantly with water or 2% baking soda solution.
After providing first aid, as well as in case of signs of poisoning, you should immediately consult a doctor.
As an antidote, vitamin K3 (vicasol) or K1 (phytomenadione) and preparations based on them, used under the supervision of a doctor, are used.
