DESCRIPTION
Efa-briquette Poison No. 1 - rodenticidal agent is a ready-made food bait in the form of a soft briquette or hard moisture-resistant briquette of red, green, blue or any other bright color.
COMPOSITION
The composition of the studied agent as an active substance includes the second generation anticoagulant - brodifacum at a concentration of 0.005%. The food base of the bait contains palm and vegetable oil, functional additives - bitterness (Bitrex), gelling agent, attractants, dye, paraffin, preservative - and flour up to 100%.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Baits based on brodifacum have high biological activity against gray rats, house mice, common voles.
When assessing the hazard for the conditions of use, one should focus on the acute toxicity of the agent, for the conditions of production on the strength of the cumulative properties.
According to the parameters of acute toxicity when injected into the stomach and applied to the skin, the agent belongs to the 4th hazard class according to the Classification of toxicity and hazard of rodenticides and the Classification of GOST 12.1.007-76. During production, it should be borne in mind that in terms of the degree of impact on the body of teplokrovnps according to the limiting indicator of toxicity - cumulation, the composition of the Efa-briquette product belongs to the 1st class of extremely dangerous rodenticides according to the classification of toxicity and danger. It has a skin-resorptive effect on the skin; vapors of the agent are of little danger.

PURPOSE
Rodenticidal agent is intended for the destruction of gray (black) rats, house mice, common voles and other rodents with a similar diet, reproduction, habitat in built-up and undeveloped areas of settlements, at objects of various categories, including residential buildings, food, children's (in places inaccessible children), medical organizations (in places inaccessible to patients), non-residential dry and wet rooms, underground structures, basements, cellars, natural foci of infections, specialists of organizations engaged in disinfection activities and the population in everyday life.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
The ready-made bait is laid out in the habitat of gray rats or house mice.
The bait in an amount of 10 g (for mice, voles), or 20 g (for rats) is placed in small containers (such as bait boxes, trays, boxes), special containers, and also laid out on substrates made of thick paper, polyethylene, disposable paper or plastic plates.
Solid moisture-resistant briquettes are especially recommended for wet rooms, sewers, basements, cellars, underground structures.
In undeveloped areas, it is possible to deposit funds directly into burrows.
In rooms, containers with bait are placed on nyryx movements of rodents and, first of all, in corners, along walls and partitions, under furniture, near burrows.
The distance between the places where the containers with the bait are laid out varies from 2 to 15 m, depending on the type and number of rodents, the area of ​​the room, as well as its litter.
With a high number of rodents, the bait is often laid out in small portions.
Eatenability and the state of the laid out bait are controlled, after the first layout after 2 days. In the future, the presence and condition of the bait is checked at intervals of 1 week. Portions of primak are added or replaced with new ones as they are eaten or contaminated. The control and placement of the bait is stopped if it remains generally intact for a long time, which indicates the absence of rodents.
PRECAUTIONS
Persons at least 18 years of age who have undergone special instructions and do not suffer from blood and liver diseases are allowed to work with the product.
All manipulations with the product should be carried out using personal protective equipment (rubber gloves) and in overalls (dressing gown or overalls), avoiding contact with the mouth, eyes and skin.
When working with the product, do not smoke, drink or eat. After work, wash hands thoroughly with warm water and soap.
The product in the places of its application should be inaccessible to children and pets, separately from food and fodder.
Place the product in suitable containers (bait boxes, drainage pipes, trays or special containers). The management and personnel of the processed object should be informed about the presence of bait and precautions. Places for the layout of the funds should be numbered for ease of control.
Bury the remains of the product and animal corpses in the ground to a depth of 0.5 m or burn in the open air (or in a boiler room). It is forbidden to throw the remains of the bait into the waste bins.
Do not use containers and containers from under the product for other purposes.
Observe special precautions when treating children's and medical objects: lay out baits in rooms inaccessible to children; the bait at the facilities should be placed in special bait boxes, excluding the spread of the product by rodents and its ingress into food products and household items.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
The product should be stored in an unopened package with a label and inscription TOXICALLY in a dry and well-ventilated covered storage room at temperatures from -20 В° C to + 30 В° C, at a distance of at least 1 m from heating devices and heat sources, protecting it from direct sun rays. Separated from food, feed and fodder, and odor chemicals.
The shelf life of the rodenticide Efa-briquette is 3 years (36 months) from the date of manufacture (in the manufacturer's unopened packaging).
