Ecocide C 2.5kg
DESCRIPTION
Ecocid C is a complex disinfectant in powder form for disinfection of objects of veterinary supervision and prevention of infectious animal diseases. Ecocide C in appearance is a granular powder of pinkish-gray color, with a faint lemon odor, easily soluble in water.
COMPOSITION
In 1 g, 500 mg of potassium peroxomonosulfate (triple salt) as an active ingredient, and as auxiliary components: surfactant - sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate, organic acids, inorganic buffer systems (sodium chloride, sodium polyphosphate), dye and citrus flavor.
BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Ecocide C has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial action against bacteria, viruses, including the causative agent of African swine fever, and fungi. Acts as a strong oxidizing agent. Organic acids in combination with an inorganic buffer create an acidic environment and optimize the disinfecting activity of potassium peroxomonosulfate; therefore, Ecocid C is also effective in hard water, in the presence of organic contaminants and at low ambient temperatures.
Solutions of the agent are not corrosive, do not have a negative effect on the materials of the treated surfaces.
Ecocide C, according to the degree of impact on the body, refers to moderately hazardous substances (hazard class 3 according to GOST 12.1.007-76).
In the recommended concentrations, it does not have a sensitizing and local irritating effect on the skin, slightly irritates the mucous membranes, working solutions in terms of the degree of exposure to the body refers to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76).
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Ecocide C is used for preventive and forced (current and final) disinfection: livestock, pig, fur, poultry buildings, incl. hatcheries, the technological equipment and inventory located in them; premises of fodder shops, fodder kitchens and other auxiliary objects of animal husbandry, technological equipment and inventory located in them; production facilities and technological equipment at enterprises of the meat and poultry industry, shops for the processing of slaughter products, premises for sanitary slaughterhouses at meat processing plants and slaughterhouses, dairy blocks at dairy farms and complexes, egg warehouses, as well as containers for storing and transporting feed and animal products ; road transport, railway cars and other types of vehicles, used for the transportation of animals, raw materials and products of animal origin; premises, equipment and inventory in places of accumulation of animals (markets for trade in animals, exhibitions); veterinary institutions (hospitals, clinics, laboratories, vivariums, nurseries), the equipment located in them, inventory, tools and laboratory glassware; surfaces in premises for keeping animals, cages and equipment in kennels for breeding dogs and cats, zoos and circuses; disinfection of water for drinking animals and water supply systems. instruments and laboratory glassware; surfaces in premises for keeping animals, cages and equipment in kennels for breeding dogs and cats, zoos and circuses; disinfection of water for drinking animals and water supply systems. instruments and laboratory glassware; surfaces in premises for keeping animals, cages and equipment in kennels for breeding dogs and cats, zoos and circuses; disinfection of water for drinking animals and water supply systems.
Disinfection with working solutions of Ecocide C is carried out in the absence of animals by a wet method (irrigation, wiping, immersion) or aerosol.
For preventive and forced (current and final) disinfection for infections of bacterial (excluding tuberculosis), viral and fungal etiology, the causative agents of which belong to 1 (low-resistance) and 2 (resistant) groups of resistance to disinfectants, wet or aerosol methods of previously cleaned surfaces and equipment, as well as in disinfection barriers and mats, use a 1% solution of Ecocide C.
Forced (current and final) disinfection with African swine fever is carried out with a 3% solution. Decontamination of the fur of animals that are immune to African swine fever is carried out during export with a 6% solution.
For thermal aerosol disinfection (preventive and forced) of livestock and auxiliary premises, incubators, premises for processing and storage of products of animal origin and feed, slaughterhouses, a 4% working solution of Ecocide S.
For disinfection of water supply systems for drinking animals, 0.5% working solution of Ecocide C is used.
To prepare a 1% working solution, the contents of a 50 g package are dissolved in 5 liters of water. It is recommended to use warm water, where the drug dissolves faster. If it is necessary to prepare large quantities of a disinfectant solution, use a 1 kg package, the contents of which are dissolved in 100 liters of water, or a 2.5 kg package, the contents of which are dissolved in 250 liters of water.
To prepare a 0.5% working solution, the contents of a 50 g package are dissolved in 10 liters of water.
If it is necessary to prepare large quantities of a disinfectant solution, you should use a 1 kg package, the contents of which are dissolved in 200 liters of water, or a 2.5 kg package, the contents of which are dissolved in 500 liters of water.
To prepare a 4% working solution for thermal aerosol disinfection, first mix the aerosol stabilizer (monopropylene glycol, etc.) with water at the rate of 15 parts of the stabilizer for 85 parts of water, then 4 parts of Ecocide C are added to the resulting solution.
To prepare working solutions for the purpose of preventive and forced disinfection at low temperatures (up to minus 18 В° C), take the required amount of Ecocide C and dissolve in 60% of the warm water required to prepare the solution. Then the volume of the solution is brought to 100% propylene glycol.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
It is allowed to carry out local processing of separate machine-tool places free from animals in occupied livestock buildings, individual pieces of equipment and surface areas at enterprises, provided that the premises are ventilated and there are no animals and people in the immediate vicinity of the processed objects.
At the end of the established exposure, areas of surfaces accessible to animals, feeders, drinkers, other places of possible accumulation of disinfectant solution, as well as equipment made of non-corrosive materials, are rinsed with water to remove residual disinfectant and the room is dried.
At the end of aerosol disinfection, the premises are ventilated for 30-60 minutes before entering the animals.
For the sanitation of drinking water for animals, incl. birds, add Ecocid C to water at the rate of 1000 g per 1000 liters of water.
The spent working solution of Ecocide C is diluted with a large amount of water and drained into the sewer. Subject to the recommendations for use, Ecocid C does not have a harmful effect on wastewater treatment plants.
The quality control of disinfection is carried out in accordance with the methodology set forth in the 'Rules for Disinfection and Disinfestation of Objects of State Veterinary Surveillance' (2002).
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Store Ecocide C in the closed packaging of the manufacturer, in a dry place protected from direct sunlight, at a temperature of 0 В° C to 30 В° C, separately from food and feed, flammable substances, strong alkalis and acids.
The shelf life of Ecocide C, subject to storage conditions, is 5 years from the date of production. After opening the package Ecocid C should be used for a period not exceeding 28 days. Ecocide C should not be applied after the expiration date.
Working solutions of Ecocide C retain their activity for 4-7 days.
