DESCRIPTION

Insectoacaricidal agent Dobrokhim FOS is a water-based emulsion concentrate in the form of a clear liquid from yellowish to light brown. The product has an acute insecticidal and acaricidal effect. The residual acaricidal effect in natural biotopes lasts for 1 - 1.5 months.

COMPOSITION

Contains 20% fenthion (FOS), as well as antioxidant, stabilizer, synergist, fragrance, emulsifiers, solvent (water).

PROPERTIES

According to the parameters of acute toxicity with a single injection into the stomach and application to the skin, the agent belongs to the 3rd class of moderately hazardous according to the Classification of GOST 12.1.007-76. Does not have a local irritating effect when applied to the skin once and has no sensitizing effect; has an irritating effect on the mucous membranes of the eyes. Vapors of the agent in saturating concentrations belong to the 3rd class of moderately hazardous according to the Criteria for the selection of insecticidal preparations.

Working water 0.5% (based on the active substance) emulsion with repeated exposure does not have a local irritant and skin resorptive effect; has an irritating effect on the mucous membranes of the eyes. According to the degree of volatility, it is classified as a low-hazard agent. When inhaled in the area of ​​acute biocidal effect, aerosols of 0.5% of the working aqueous working emulsion belong to the 2nd class of highly hazardous; couples - to the 4th class of little hazardous according to the Classification of the degree of danger of disinfestation agents.

According to the parameters of acute toxicity in accordance with GOST 12.1.007-76, it belongs to the II class of highly hazardous compounds.

For fenthion, the following hygienic standards have been established: OBUV in the air of the working area - 0.3 mg / m3 (aerosol + vapor); Footwear in the air of populated areas - 0.001 mg / m3; MPC in water of reservoirs - 0.001 mg / dm3, TAC in soil - 0.1 mg / kg, ADI - 0.0005 mg / kg of human body weight.

PURPOSE

The product is intended to combat ixodic ticks (carriers of tick-borne encephalitis, Lyme disease and other diseases) when processing natural conditions.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

The tool is used in the form of aqueous emulsions. Working aqueous emulsions are prepared immediately before use. To do this, the product is mixed with tap or filtered water from the nearest reservoirs, constantly and evenly stirring for 5 minutes. The finished emulsion should be used within 8 hours.

To apply the product, use any spraying equipment designed for spraying solutions and emulsions of insecticides on surfaces (automaxes, small-droplet knapsack sprayers, large-droplet multi-volume sprayers, small- and micro-volume sprayers, aerosol generators (including aerosol generators) with controlled dispersion of GARD sprayers thrust). Small-droplet apparatus with a weight median droplet diameter of 20 - 150 Ојm is used. If conditions permit, it is possible to use equipment on cars when processing territories. The main condition is to ensure uniform coverage of the entire surface with the working emulsion.

The required amount of the agent is mixed with the amount of water that is needed for uniform application to the treated area and which depends on the type of equipment used. Usually, 100 liters of working emulsion is consumed per 1 hectare, but with dense vegetation, more of it is needed.

The consumption rate of the product depends on the density of the vegetation cover and on the type of mites: for the destruction of ticks of the genus Ixodes, with a rare vegetation cover, 1.0 l per 1 ha, and with a dense one - 1.5 l per 1 ha; for the destruction of ticks of the genus Dermacentor and Haemaphysalis - 2.5 liters per 1 ha.

Territory processing

Tick ​​control is carried out in areas with a high risk of tick-borne encephalitis or Lyme disease.

Plots of territory are treated with acaricide in order to protect the population (loggers, tourists, vacationers, children in summer health camps, etc.) from the fall of ixodid ticks of the genus Ixodes (in the European part of the Russian Federation, this is the forest tick I. ricinus L. and taiga tick I. persulcatus P. Sch., in the Asian part of the country - mainly I. persulcatus), Haemaphysalis and Dermacentor, which are carriers of pathogens of dangerous diseases.

Areas frequently visited by people (paths, playgrounds, etc.) must be mechanically cleared of vegetation and forest floor, in which ticks may be found. The rest of the herbaceous vegetation, where mites are found, must be processed.

When the cultivated area is located on the territory of a vast forest area, which poses a danger of ticks drifting, it is recommended to create a barrier, the width of which should not be less than 50 - 100 m.

Processing is carried out 7 days before people visit the area.

Processing should be carried out under favorable weather conditions (no precipitation) for the next 3 days.

The period of validity of the remedy for ticks in the litter is about 1 - 1.5 months. With a significant amount of precipitation, a decrease in the effectiveness of the product is possible. If necessary, due to the presence of ticks in the treated area, it can be re-processed.

PRECAUTIONS

Everyone working with the product must strictly observe safety precautions.

Before the start of treatments, the work manager (disinstructor, employee of the Central State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service, etc.) instructs on precautionary measures and first aid measures, as well as ways to prevent contamination of water bodies, crops, etc. with the agent. signed by the work manager. It is forbidden to use a product that does not have a certificate of conformity, as well as without indicating on the packaging its name, date of manufacture and expiration date.

Persons working with the product must be provided with personal protective equipment: robes (overalls) made of dense (tarpaulin, etc.) or water-repellent fabric, capes with a PVC hood, oilcloth, rubberized or PVC aprons, rubber boots, technical rubber gloves (the use of medical gloves is prohibited) or cotton gloves with a film coating, hermetic anti-dust goggles (PO-2, PO-3, monoblock), universal respirators RU-60M, RPG-67 with a cartridge of A grade or GP-5 gas masks. Respirators should fit snugly against the face, but not squeeze it. Smelling the product under the mask of a respirator indicates that the gas mask cartridge is used up and needs to be replaced.

The duration of the working day when working with the product is 4 hours with 10 to 15 minute breaks every 45 to 50 minutes in specially designated resting places, which should be located no closer than 200 m from the treated areas, places for preparing solutions and loading areas. Before resting, you must take off your work clothes, wash your hands and face with soap.

Environmental precautions: Do not allow undiluted product to enter sewage / surface or ground water and sewers. Dilute with plenty of water.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

The product is stored at temperatures from minus 10 В° C to plus 40 В° C away from sources of fire at a distance of at least 3 m from heating devices. The product is stored in an undamaged, tightly closed container. The container must have a label with the name of the product, date of manufacture, expiration date. The product has a shelf life of 5 years in an unopened manufacturer's packaging.
