Characteristics:
Dill fragrant fruits contain essential and fatty oils, flavonoids, carotene and other biologically active substances.
Description:
Half-fruit 3-7 mm, 1.5-4 mm wide, oval, slightly convex on the dorsal side and flat on the inner side; each semi-fruit with three filiform dorsal ribs and two flat pterygoid lateral ribs.The color of the semi-fruits is light brown, brownish-gray or brown, sometimes with green shade, with lighter dorsal ribs and brownish-white, sometimes with a green tinge - marginal ribs. The smell is strong, aromatic. The taste of the aqueous extract is sweetish-spicy, somewhat pungent.
Pharmacotherapeutic group: Herbal antispasmodic agent.
Pharmacological action:
Infusion of fragrant fruit dill has an antispasmodic, expectorant, anti-inflammatory, hypotensive, choleretic and carminative effect, promotes milk production in nursing mothers.
Indications for use:
Spasms of smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract, flatulence, constipation, inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (in combination therapy).
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to drug components.
With caution - arterial hypotension.
Method of administration and dosage:
About 10 g (2 tablespoons) of odorant dill fruit is placed in an enamel bowl, 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water is poured, covered with a lid, heated in a boiling water bath with periodic stirring for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, wring out the remaining raw materials. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.
It is taken orally in a warm form, 1/3 cup 3-4 times a day.
It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.
