Symptomatic treatment of pain syndrome in gastrointestinal dyskinesia, irritable bowel syndrome.
To prepare for X-ray examination of the gastrointestinal tract using barium.
The tablets are taken whole with meals, without chewing or dissolving, with a glass of water to prevent contact of pinaverium bromide with the esophageal mucosa (see section 'Special instructions').
DicetelЃ, film-coated tablets, 50 mg:
the recommended daily dose is 1 tablet 3 times a day or 2 tablets 2 times a day.
If necessary, the daily dose can be increased to 2 tablets 3 times a day.
In preparation for X-ray examination - 2 tablets 2 times a day for 3 days before the examination.

Active substance:
pinaverium bromide
Hypersensitivity to pinaverium bromide.
pharmachologic effect
Antispasmodic agent with myotropic and m-anticholinergic action. Reduces spasm of smooth muscles of internal organs, lowers the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Accelerates gastric evacuation.
Anticholinergic action is weak. Selectively blocks calcium channels in intestinal and biliary tract smooth muscle cells.

Side effect
Possibly: minor dyspeptic symptoms, allergic reactions, constipation, nausea.
Contraindications for use
Hypersensitivity to pinaverium bromide.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
During pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding), pinaverium bromide is used with caution, only in cases where the expected therapeutic effect for the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or child.
Application in children
Use with caution in children.
