Pharmacological action of
Drug that improves tissue regeneration, for external use. The active substance of the drug - dexpanthenol - in the body passes into pantothenic acid, which, as an integral part of coenzyme A, plays an important role in the processes of acetylation and oxidation, is involved in carbohydrate, fat metabolism and in the synthesis of acetylcholine. It has some anti-inflammatory effect and improves tissue regeneration.
Indications
Wounds, sunburn and thermal burns.
Bullous and vesicular dermatitis.
Diaper rash.
Boils after dissection and debridement.
Aseptic postoperative wounds, poorly grafted skin grafts.
Cracks in the skin, including treatment and prevention of cracks and inflammation of the nipples of the mammary glands during lactation.
Prevention and treatment of diaper rash in infants, activation of the healing process of the skin with minor injuries, erythema from the diaper.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Use of the drug Panthenol Spray during pregnancy and lactation is indicated.
Special instructions
Shake the vial thoroughly before spraying.
If skin allergic reactions occur, the drug should be discontinued.
There are no restrictions on the use of the drug in the elderly.
The cylinder is under pressure. It should be protected from direct sunlight and temperatures above 50 РC. After use, the balloon must not be opened and burned. Do not spray near open flames or incandescent objects.
Use in pediatrics
The drug is recommended for use in children.
Composition
100 g of spray contain:
Active ingredient: dexpanthenol - 4.63 g
Excipients: cetyl stearyl alcohol, liquid wax, liquid paraffin, water, peracetic acid, propellant (from a mixture of three gases: propane, isobut -butane).
Dosage and administration
The drug is used once or several times a day by spraying from a distance of 10-20 cm so that the entire affected surface is covered with the preparation (foam).
The duration of the course of therapy depends on the severity of the disease.
Side effects
Possibly: skin allergic reaction.

Overdose
There have been no reports of overdoses of Panthenol Spray at this time.
