Pharmacological action
Bepanten is a preparation for external use that improves trophism and tissue regeneration.
Dexpanthenol, the active substance of the drug Bepanten, quickly turns into pantothenic acid in the skin cells, which is an integral part of coenzyme A and plays an important role both in the formation of and in the healing of damaged skin, it stimulates skin regeneration, normalizes cellular metabolism.
Indications
- for violation of the integrity of the skin: healing of burns (including sunburn), minor skin lesions (abrasions, cuts, cracks)
- prevention and treatment of dry skin, including and as a result of dermatitis of various origins, as well as daily care of areas of the skin that are most affected by external factors (face, hands)
- to care for the mammary gland during lactation (cracks and redness of the nipples of the breast)
- to care for breast children and infants (diaper rash, diaper dermatitis).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Cream can be used during pregnancy and during breast-feeding.
Special instructions
Avoid contact with eyes.
Composition
1 g of srd amphisole K,
cetyl alcohol,
stearyl alcohol,
lanolin,
isopropyl myristate,
propylene glycol,
purified water.
Dosage and Administration
Externally. Bepanten cream is applied in a thin layer 1-2 times a day on the affected surface and gently rubbed.
When caring for the mammary gland, the cream is applied to the surface of the nipples after each feeding.
When caring for infants, the cream is applied with each change of the diaper (diaper).
Side effects
Allergic reactions (urticaria, pruritus) are possible in extremely rare cases.
Overdose of
Dexpanthenol, even at high doses, is well tolerated and does not cause any adverse reactions.
To date, no cases of overdose have been reported. Cases of hypervitaminosis are unknown.
Storage conditions
Keep out of the reach and sight of children at temperatures below 25 РC.
