Pharmacokinetics

There are no data on the pharmacokinetics of Strepsils® with vitamin C.

Indications for use

- symptomatic treatment of sore throat in infectious and inflammatory diseases.

Contraindications for use

- children under 6 years old

- deficiency of sucrase / isomaltase, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption

- hypersensitivity to drug components.

The drug should be used with caution in diabetes mellitus, pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

Dosage regimen

The drug is used topically.

Children aged 6-18 years are recommended to dissolve 1 tab.

every 4 hours. Do not take more than 5 tablets.

within 24 hours. Adults over 18 years of age are recommended to dissolve 1 tab.

every 2-3 hours. Do not take more than 8 tablets.

within 24 hours. Do not exceed the indicated dose.

The duration of the course of treatment is no more than 3 days.

If symptoms persist after taking the drug for 3 days, you must stop treatment and consult a doctor.

1 tablet contains: Active ingredients: 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg, amylmetacresol 600 μg, vitamin C 100 mg

Excipients: anise oil, sweet orange oil, levomenthol, tartaric acid, ponso 4R edikol, sunset yellow edikol, a hardener made of liquid confectionery sugar and liquid glucose to obtain a tablet weighing 2.6 g.

Indications

As a symptomatic remedy for the relief of sore throat in infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug stomach ulcer (exacerbation) bronchial asthma and rhinitis while taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs children's age (up to 12 years old) deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, pregnancy, lactation.
