A drug that improves tissue regeneration, for external use.
Dexpanthenol is a derivative of pantothenic acid, which is a water-soluble B vitamin required as a component of coenzyme A for carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism.
Plays an important role in the processes of acetylation during gluconeogenesis, the release of energy from carbohydrates, the synthesis and breakdown of fatty acids, the synthesis of sterols and steroid hormones, acetylcholine.
Pantothenic acid is necessary to maintain the normal function of the epithelium, an increase in the need for it is noted when the skin or tissues are damaged, in this case, the local deficiency of pantothenic acid can be replenished with the local application of D-Panthenol ointment.
Stimulates skin regeneration, normalizes cellular metabolism, increases the strength of collagen fibers.
It has a regenerating, mild anti-inflammatory effect, nourishes and softens the skin.
