DESCRIPTION

Insectoacaricidal agent Cypermethrin 25% e. is a concentrate of an emulsion in the form of a homogeneous liquid from pale yellow to yellow with a scent odor. It belongs to the 4th class of low-hazard substances.

The drug has an acute insectoacaricidal effect. The residual effect in natural biotopes of the agent lasts for at least 30 days. Broad spectrum emulsion concentrate suitable for insect control:

COMPOSITION

Active ingredient (DV) cypermethrin - 25%, emulsifiers, stabilizer, solvent, flavor.

PURPOSE

The drug is intended for specialists of organizations entitled to engage in disinfection activities for the destruction of ixodid ticks of the genera Ixodes, Dermacentor, Haemophisalis when processing natural stations and to protect people from the attack of ixodid ticks and fleas (carriers of pathogens of dangerous human diseases) when processing outerwear.

METHOD OF APPLICATION AND DOSAGE

A freshly prepared working emulsion is used to combat ixodid ticks.

To prepare a working emulsion, the agent is diluted in tap water at room temperature or any other filtered water, constantly and evenly stirring for 5 minutes. The calculation of the amount of the agent required for the preparation of the working 1 emulsion is presented in Table 1.

For the treatment of the terrain, use any equipment designed for spraying insecticides on surfaces (automaxes, small-droplet knapsack sprayers, large-droplet multi-volume sprayers, small and micro-volume sprayers, sprayers on mechanical traction) with a weight median droplet diameter of 20-150 microns. The main condition is to ensure uniform coverage of the working emulsion of the entire specified area. If conditions permit, it is possible to use equipment on cars when processing territories.

Areas frequently visited by people (paths, playgrounds, etc.) must be mechanically cleared of vegetation and forest litter, in which ticks may be found. The rest of the herbaceous vegetation, where mites are found, must be processed.

When the cultivated area is located on the territory of a vast forest area, which presents a danger of ticks drifting, it is recommended to create a barrier, the width of which should be at least 50-100 m.

Processing should be carried out with a favorable meteorological forecast (no precipitation) for the next 3 days.

The consumption rate of the working emulsion depends on the type of equipment used and the density of the vegetation cover. Usually, 100 liters of working emulsion are consumed per hectare, but with a dense vegetation cover, more of it.

The consumption rate of the product depends on the type and number of mites, as well as on the density of the vegetation cover. For the elimination of ticks of the genus Ixodes: with a low number (up to 10 ticks per flag per 1 km of the route during the period of maximum number and activity of ticks) and rare vegetation, the consumption rate of the product will be 0.25 l / ha; with an average and high number and dense vegetation - 0.75 l / ha; with rare - 0.5 l / ha. For the destruction of ticks of the genus Dermocentor, Haemophysalis - 1.25 l / ha.

The validity period of the funds remains at least 30 days. If a significant amount of precipitation falls, the effectiveness of the product may decrease. If necessary, due to the presence of ticks in the treated area, it can be re-processed.

To prepare a working emulsion for applying the product to clothing, use a concentration of 0.125% for DV. The calculation of the amount of the agent required for the preparation of the working emulsion is presented in table 2.

The clothes are irrigated. Treatment is carried out in non-residential premises equipped with exhaust ventilation or outdoors. The agent is evenly applied to the straightened clothes from a distance of 20-50 cm (depending on the type of spray equipment), first on one side, then the clothes are turned over and the other side is treated. Particular attention must be paid to the processing of trousers, since the main number of ticks and fleas cling to clothes at a height of 0.2-1 m.

The concentration of the working water emulsion is 0.125% for the active ingredient (0.50% for the product). Consumption rate - 40 ml / sq.m. fabrics (jacket or shirt and trousers - 160-200 ml, depending on size).

After processing, clothes should be dried flat in the open air in the shade or in a well-ventilated area for 2 hours.

The period of insecticidal and acaricidal action of the treated clothing is up to 14 days. To increase the protective time, treated clothing should be stored in a sealed plastic bag. The wetting of clothes dramatically reduces, and washing completely deprives it of its insecticidal and acaricidal action. When the protective effect is weakened or lost, it is additionally processed.

PRECAUTIONS

Those who work with the product must strictly observe safety precautions and personal hygiene rules.

Persons under 18 years of age, pregnant and lactating women, as well as persons who are contraindicated in contact with pesticides are not allowed to work with the product.

It is forbidden to eat, drink, smoke at work places.

Persons working with the product must be provided with a set of personal protective equipment, which includes: a jumpsuit made of dense (tarpaulin, etc.) or water-repellent fabric, a cape with a PVC hood, oilcloth, rubberized or polyvinyl chloride aprons, rubber boots - GOST 5375 -79, rubber gloves, technically GOST 20010-93 (the use of medical gloves is prohibited), sealed goggles (PO-2, PO-3, monoblock), universal respirators RU-60M, RPG-67 with a gas cartridge of grade A, respirators must be tight fit to the face, but do not squeeze it. Smelling the product under the mask of a respirator indicates that the gas cartridge has been used up and needs to be replaced. Every day after work, the rubber face parts of the respirator must be carefully wiped with a cotton swab,

After finishing work, wash your hands, face and other exposed areas of the body, which may have been exposed to splashes of the emulsion. At the end of the shift, take a shower.

Observe water protection zones of rivers, ponds, lakes, reservoirs, zones of the first and second zones of sanitary protection of water supply sources and air intakes.

FIRST AID MEASURES

If the recommended precautions are violated or accidentally, drug poisoning may occur.

In case of poisoning through the respiratory tract, the victim is taken out into fresh air, allowed to rinse the mouth with water or 2% baking soda solution.

In case of accidental contact of the drug on the eyes, they are immediately washed under running water or 2% baking soda solution for several minutes. When irritation of the conjunctiva appears, 30% sodium sulfacil is instilled into the eyes, and if painful - 2% novocaine.

The product is packed in polymer containers with a capacity of 500 ml.

Allowed by all types of transport in accordance with the rules for the carriage of dangerous goods in force for this type of transport, and guaranteeing the safety of products and containers.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

Store the product in a covered warehouse in a tightly closed container at a temperature not higher than + 40 В° РЎ and not lower than -20 В° РЎ, away from fire, heating devices, sunlight, separate from food products and medicines. The shelf life under the storage conditions is 5 years from the date of manufacture of the product.
