Cyperil 10%, 1L
DESCRIPTION
Cyperil is an insectoacaricidal preparation for combating animal ectoparasites. In appearance it is a transparent liquid of light yellow or yellow color. Forms a stable white emulsion with water.
COMPOSITION
Cyperil contains in 100 ml synthetic pyrethroid cypermethrin, respectively, 5 g or 10 g, and as auxiliary substances 0.02 ml of emulsifier OP-7 or OP-10, 10 ml of neonol and xylene up to 100 ml.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Cyperil belongs to the antiparasitic drugs of the group of synthetic pyrethroids.
The mechanism of action of cypermethrin, which is part of the drug, is to disrupt the permeability of cell membranes, blocking the transmission of nerve impulses, which causes impaired coordination of movements, paralysis and leads to the rapid death of ectoparasites.
Cyperil, according to the degree of effect on the body, belongs to moderately hazardous substances (hazard class 3 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), in recommended doses it does not have skin-irritating, resorptive-toxic and sensitizing effects.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Cattle: to protect against ixodid ticks, spray with 0.005% emulsion of the drug with a consumption rate of 2 liters per animal once every 7-10 days, against blood-sucking dipterans - 0.0125% emulsion once every 3 days with consumption rate of 500 ml per animal. Animals suffering from psoroptosis and chorioptosis are sprayed with 0.005 - 0.0125% emulsions - twice with an interval of 10 - 12 days with a consumption rate of up to 2 liters per animal; against flies-flies and field flies - carriers of the causative agents of thelaziosis, animals are sprayed with 0.0125% emulsion of Cyperil with a consumption of 50 - 100 ml, applying the drug to the back and head. The first spraying is carried out 1 - 2 weeks after the start of the grazing season, then the treatment is repeated 2 times with an interval of 3 weeks.
Sheep: in case of psoroptosis, melophagosis and lesions by ixodic ticks, they spray with 0.0125% water emulsion of cyperil at a flow rate of 1.5 - 3 liters per animal or bathe in a swimming bath with 0.005% aqueous emulsion of cyperil. In order to prevent psoroptosis, the treatment of sheep is carried out once in the fall in September-October, with a therapeutic purpose - twice with an interval of 10 - 12 days. Against sheep runes, animals are treated twice with an interval of 10 - 14 days, against ixodid ticks - according to indications with an interval of at least 12 days. Sheep are bathed in dry weather at an air temperature of at least 18 В° C and a bathing emulsion - 18 - 25 В° C. Duration of bathing sheep - 50 - 60 sec. Before processing, the sheep are kept on a starvation diet for 10 hours. Animals must be watered 2 hours before processing. Treatment of animals must be carried out 3 days after shearing; lambs under 1 month of age are bathed separately from adult animals. After bathing, the sheep are kept for 10 - 15 minutes on slop sites to drain the emulsion, after which they are distilled into a pen. Refueling of the bath to the initial level is carried out with a 0.0075% emulsion after bathing 300 unshorn or 400 sheared sheep. The kennels, where the sheep with psoroptosis were kept, are sprayed with 0.0125% cyperil emulsion with a consumption rate of 200 ml / m2 of the treated surface.
Pigs, camels and horses with sarcoptic mange and sifunculosis are sprayed with 0.0125% cyperil emulsion twice with an interval of 10 to 12 days. The consumption rate of the emulsion for pigs is 0.5 - 2 liters, for camels and horses - 3 - 5 liters of emulsion per animal. Deacarization of premises where sick animals were kept is carried out with 0.0125% aqueous emulsion at the rate of 200 ml / m2 of the treated surface.
To protect reindeer herds from gadflies and midges, a 0.0125% aqueous emulsion of the drug is sprayed over the herd with a consumption rate of 20-30 ml per animal or the herd is treated with an aerosol from RAA with a 0.01% solution in a solarium or oxamate at the rate 1 liter per 1000 deer. On lactating animals, cyperil is used at a concentration of no more than 0.0125% with a consumption rate of no more than 2 liters per animal.
Dogs, cats, arctic foxes, foxes and other carnivores from 4 weeks of age against pathogens of scabies, fleas, lice, lice and ixodid ticks are sprayed with 0.0125% aqueous emulsion of Cyperil until the affected areas or the entire skin and hair cover are completely wetted (0.2 - 1 L per animal). Dogs and cats 30-60 minutes after treatment are washed with warm running water and soap or shampoo. Re-processing is carried out after 8 to 10 days. Do not handle animals that are malnourished and sick with infectious diseases. Processing and washing of animals is carried out in rubber gloves.
Complete deacarization and disinsection of poultry houses against chicken ticks and bedbugs is carried out by spraying the preparation with a 0.0125% emulsion with a consumption rate of 100-200 ml / m2 of the treated surface after the poultry has been removed from the room. Spray walls, ceilings, support posts, manure trenches, floor under cage batteries. Eggs are collected before processing. The introduction of birds into the premises is allowed 4 hours after the start of ventilation. The dead ectoparasites are swept away and disposed of, the feeders and drinkers are thoroughly washed with water and then the bird is placed in the room.
For the disinsection of livestock buildings against indoor and other types of flies, fleas and mosquitoes, a 0.0125% aqueous emulsion of Cyperil is used with a consumption rate of 100-200 ml / m2 of the treated surface by spraying: against flies, selectively irrigate their landing sites, as well as external walls buildings, waste bins and manure storages. Repeated treatments are carried out as the number of insects increases. To destroy fleas, the walls are sprayed to a height of 1 m and the floor. To kill mosquitoes, areas from the congestion (walls, ceilings, window frames), as well as the outer walls of buildings, are selectively sprayed. Mosquito larvae in the basements of buildings and structures are destroyed by applying a 0.0125% emulsion to the water surface in an amount of 100 ml / m2. Against cockroaches in livestock buildings, their habitats are selectively treated, possible ways of movement and shelter (cracks in the walls, ventilation holes, surfaces behind heating devices, etc.) 0.1% emulsion of the drug. Preparation of an aqueous emulsion: Cyperil with a small amount of water (1: 3) and with thorough stirring, add to a bath or spray container with a measured amount of water.
Working emulsions are prepared immediately before use. The calculation of the amount of cyperil for the preparation of the emulsion is carried out according to the formula: X = (A x B) / C, where X is the amount of the drug required to prepare the emulsion (l), A is the amount of the working emulsion that needs to be prepared for processing (l), B - the concentration of the active substance (%), which should be obtained in the working emulsion, C - the content of the active substance in the emulsion concentrate (%). Example: to treat a room, it is necessary to prepare 1000 liters of a 0.0125% aqueous emulsion from a 10% cyperil emulsion concentrate. How much drug is required? Substituting the values into the formula, we get: X = (1000 x 0.0125) / 10 = 1.25 liters. Therefore, for the preparation of 1000 liters of a 0.0125% aqueous emulsion, it is necessary to take 1.25 liters of a 10% cyperil emulsion concentrate.
