DESCRIPTION

Creolin-X 2.5% - insectoacaricidal drug in the form of a solution for external use is intended for the prevention and treatment of arachno-entomoses in animals. Creolin-X in appearance is a homogeneous oily liquid, transparent in a thin layer, with the smell of coal oil, from dark brown to black-brown in color. With water it forms an emulsion of a milky white or milky gray color.

COMPOSITION

As an active ingredient it contains: cypermethrin - 2.5%. Excipients: phenol-free coal creolin - up to 100%.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Cypermethrin, which is part of Creolin-X, has an intestinal contact effect, is active against sarcoptoid, ixodid ticks and insects. Cypermethrin leads to the death of arthropods as a result of impaired permeability of cell membranes and blockage of sodium channels in the nervous system.

Creolin-X, according to the degree of impact on the body, belongs to moderately hazardous substances (hazard class 3 according to GOST 12.1.007-76). In recommended doses and concentrations, it does not have a local irritant and sensitizing effect. Toxic to fish and bees.

PURPOSE

Creolin-X is used: for the treatment and prevention of sheep with psoroptosis; cattle with psoroptosis, chorioptosis, sarcoptic mange, sifunculitis, ixodid tick damage; pigs with sarcoptic mange and hematopinosis; for the treatment of birds against down-feathers, as well as for disinsection and deacarization of poultry premises against chicken and Persian ticks, bed bugs and flies; for the treatment and prevention of sarcoptic mange, notoedrosis and otoedectosis of foxes, polar foxes, raccoon dogs and other fur-bearing animals, notoedrosis and psoroptosis of rabbits; against blood-sucking dipterans (mosquitoes, midges, biting midges, horseflies) and pasture flies.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

Insectoacaricidal preparation, sheep - psoroptosis, purchase of 0.005% solution according to DV (2 kg per 1 ton of water); Cattle - psoroptosis, chorioptosis, sifunculatosis, ixodid ticks, protection from flying insects - 0.005% solution 1.5-3 liters per head; pigs - sarcoptic mange and hematopinosis - 0.025% solution 0.3-0.5 liters per head; birds - fight against ectoparasites, disinfestation and deacarization of poultry premises 0.005% solution in the Far East; fur-bearing animals and rabbits - with sarcoptoidosis 0.005% solution in the Far East.

Before mass treatments, each batch of Creolin-X is tested on 10-15 animal heads. If the animals show no signs of toxicosis within two days after treatment, the whole livestock is treated.

Working emulsions of Creolin-X are prepared immediately before use, taking into account the content of the active substance in Creolin-X, under the guidance of a veterinarian or paramedic. At the same time, the volume of the working emulsion required for processing and the amount of Creolin-X required for its preparation are determined (see table) The ratio of Rreolin-X and water in the preparation of 0.005% coupon emulsion ..

Sheep with psoroptosis are bathed in a floating bath, using 0.005% water emulsion of Creolin-X, for therapeutic purposes twice with an interval of 10-14 days, for the purpose of prevention - once. The required amount of Creolin-X is thoroughly mixed with 2-3 volumes of warm water (28-32 В° C), and then poured into a floating bath with water, adding water with stirring to the required volume. Processing is carried out in dry weather at an air temperature of at least 18 В° C and a coupon emulsion - 18-25 В° C. Bathing duration 50-60 sec. Before processing, the sheep are kept on a starvation diet for 10 hours. Animals must be watered 2 hours before processing. After shearing, the sheep should be bathed no earlier than 3 days later. Lambs under 1 month old are bathed separately from adult animals. After leaving the bath, the sheep are left for 10-15 minutes on a special platform for the emulsion to drain, after which they are distilled into a corral. Refueling of the bath is carried out after processing 300-400 sheared sheep or 400-500 sheared sheep, while for every 1000 liters. added to the bath water with thorough stirring, add 4 liters. 2.5% or 2 liters. 5% Creolin-X ..

Cattle with psoroptosis, chorioptosis, ixodid ticks and insects are treated with 0.005% Creolin-X water emulsion. The animals are sprayed, moistening the whole body, especially the lesions and areas in the ears, limbs, abdomen and tail are treated with particular care. The consumption rate of the working emulsion of Creolin-X, depending on the weight of the animal, is 1.5-3.0 liters. Repeated treatment of cattle with entomoses and lesions by ixodid ticks during the season of their parasitism is carried out according to indications, with sarcoptoidosis - twice with an interval of 7-10 days. To combat gnat (mosquitoes, midges, biting midges, horseflies), treatment of cattle with Creolin-X is carried out by spraying with 0.008% water emulsion (according to cypermtrine) with a consumption rate: young animals up to 1 year old - 230-270 ml, over 1 year 480- 520 ml per animal. For example, to prepare 100 liters of 0.008% water emulsion, take 320 ml of 2.5% Creolin-X and 99.68 liters of water or 160 ml of 5% Creolin-X and 99.84 liters of water. The time of treatments and the need for them are determined depending on the dominant components of the gnat. With a high number of horseflies and midges, animals are treated daily after the morning milking, and with a high number of mosquitoes and midges - after the evening. With a moderate number of blood-sucking insects, treatments are carried out once every 2-3 days, and with an attack only by pasture flies - after 7-10 days. Spraying of cattle is carried out using a PER apparatus, a knapsack sprayer OP-8, DUK or other spraying devices that provide fine-drop spraying. 84 liters of water. Pigs with sarcoptic mange and hematopinosis are sprayed with 0.025% water emulsion of Creolin-X with a consumption rate of 300-500 ml per animal. For example, to prepare 100 liters of 0.025% water emulsion, you should take 1 liter of 2.5% Creolin-X and 99 liters of water or 0.5 liters of 5% Creolin-X and 99.5 liters of water. The animals are treated twice with an interval of 7-10 days. The auricles are especially carefully treated with Creolin-X. In farms, unfavorable for sarcoptoidosis, simultaneously with the treatment of animals, deacarization of premises is carried out using 0.005% water emulsion of Creolin-X with a consumption rate of 200-400 ml / m2 of the treated surface. ...

Spraying of premises is carried out in the absence of animals, the remnants of feed, water and dairy equipment are preliminarily removed, the milking equipment is covered with plastic wrap. After 1-1.5 hours after treatment, the room is ventilated for at least 1 hour, the treated surfaces are thoroughly washed with water, the feeders and drinkers are thoroughly washed with a 3% solution of soda ash and rinsed with water, after which they are placed in the animal room.

Treatment of birds against down-eating, chicken and Persian ticks, bed bugs is carried out with Creolin-X by spraying birds with a spray of 0.005% water emulsion (by cypermethrin) with directed aerosols. Treatment is carried out after collecting eggs in a dose of 15-30 ml per bird twice with an interval of 8-10 days.

Disinsection and deacarization of industrial premises of poultry farms, poultry farms, farms is carried out in the absence of poultry during the technological break. Before treatment, the poultry house is subjected to a parasitological examination to determine the species composition of the parasites. Disinsection and deacarization is carried out with 0.005% water emulsion of Creolin-X (by cypermethrin) twice, taking into account the development cycle of ectoparasites and the air temperature in the poultry house during the technological break: for the destruction of chicken mites at an air temperature of 15-17 В° C, the interval between treatments is 10- 12 days, at a temperature of 18-20 В° C - 8-10 days, at a temperature above 20 В° C - 5-6 days; for the destruction of bed bugs and Persian ticks at an air temperature of 17-20 В° C, the interval between treatments is 15-21 days, at a temperature of 21-25 В° C - 10-15 days,

For sarcoptic mange, notoedrosis and otodectosis of foxes, polar foxes, raccoon dogs and other fur-bearing animals, as well as notoedrosis and psoroptosis in rabbits, Creolin-X is used for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes with a concentration of 0.005% for cypermethrin (see table). Furry animals and rabbits are bathed in a bathtub, placed in insulated rooms, for therapeutic purposes twice with an interval of 7-8 days, for the purpose of prevention - once. The treatment is carried out at an air temperature not lower than 22 В° C and a cup emulsion - 30-32 В° C. Duration of bathing animals is 1-2 minutes. Before processing, in order to avoid being bitten by people carrying out the processing, the animals are fixed with a loop of braid and immersed in a bathing emulsion. In order for the acaricidal liquid to reach the surface of the skin, the hair of animals and rabbits when bathing is massaged by stroking from the tail to the head, and limbs - from bottom to top. During bathing, the head of the animal is immersed twice for 2-3 seconds in the bathing emulsion, pressing the nostrils and oral cavity with the palm of the hand. After bathing, the fur is squeezed out, allowing the liquid to drain back into the bath, and then the animals are placed in warm, disinfected cages. The treatment exposure is 1-1.5 hours, after which the room is ventilated for at least 1 hour, the treated surfaces are washed with water, the feeders and drinkers are thoroughly washed with a 3% solution of soda ash and rinsed with water, and then placed in the animal room. disinfected cells.
