Cough mixture for adults dry powder 1.7g, No. 1

As an expectorant for diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by cough with pectoral sputum (including tracheitis, bronchitis, bronchopneumonia).

Inside, for adults: dissolve the contents of 1 packet (single dose) in 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of chilled boiled water. Take orally 3-4 times a day after meals. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

dry extract of licorice roots 0.15 g

sodium bicarbonate 0.3 g

sodium benzoate 0.3 g

ammonium chloride 0.15 g

• Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;

• acute glomerulonephritis;

• acute pyelonephritis;

• pregnancy;

• breastfeeding period;

• deficiency of sucrase / isolmatase;

• intolerance to fructose;

• glucose-galactose malabsorption;

• age up to 18 years

pharmachologic effect

The combined drug has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory effect. Thermopsis dry extract enhances the secretion of the bronchial glands; dry licorice extract has anti-inflammatory, expectorant and antispasmodic effect. Sodium bicarbonate shifts the pH of bronchial mucus to the alkaline side, reduces the viscosity of sputum; licorice root has an anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic effect; sodium benzoate and ammonium chloride have an expectorant effect.

Side effect

Allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea are possible; may irritate the gastric mucosa.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

The use of the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is contraindicated.

Application for impaired renal function

Contraindicated in acute glomerulonephritis and acute pyelonephritis.

Application in children

Contraindicated in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

special instructions

Indication for patients with diabetes mellitus: the content of carbohydrates in a single dose of the drug corresponds to 0.06 XE.

Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and use mechanisms

The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and engage in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Overdose

To date, no cases of overdose have been reported.

Drug interactions

It is not recommended to take it simultaneously with antitussive drugs, as well as with drugs that reduce the formation of sputum.
