Cosmopor® E steril is a self-adhesive sterile wound dressing made of soft non-woven material with an absorbent pad that does not stick to the wound, the adhesive base of the dressing consists of synthetic rubber glue.

Overlay technique:

- Choose a dressing that is suitable for the size of the wound.

- Open the individual sterile packaging in the place indicated on the packaging with a blue rounded arrow, pulling on the non-glued edges of the packaging.

- Remove the bandage from the packaging.

- Remove one part of the protective paper covering, apply a bandage to the wound so that the absorbent pad completely covers the wound, gently press and smooth the adhesive part of the bandage without pressing on the wound.

- Remove the second part of the protective paper, smooth and press the second part of the bandage to the skin.

1. Base - non-woven polyester

2. Adhesive surface - synthetic rubber glue without rosin

3. Absorbent pad - absorbent rayon

4. Covering - polyethylene micro-mesh

5. Protective layer - silicone-treated paper with a mark where the dressing was opened.

The wound pad consists of two layers - the layer in contact with the wound and the absorbent layer.

The layer in contact with the wound consists of polyethylene, which prevents sticking to the wound.

The absorbent layer is composed of viscose, which allows exudate to be absorbed.
