The dose of the drug is selected by the doctor individually in accordance with the severity of the disease and the patient's sensitivity to the drug. For patients with concomitant severe cerebrovascular diseases and in elderly patients, the dose should be reduced.
Chronic stable and vasospastic angina: 20 mg (1 table) 2 times a day. With insufficiently pronounced clinical effect, the dose of the drug is gradually increased to 40 mg (table 2) 2 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 80 mg (table 4).
Essential hypertension: 20 mg (1 table) 2 times a day. With insufficiently pronounced clinical effect, the dose of the drug is gradually increased to 40 mg (table 2) 2 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 80 mg (table 4).
If the drug is administered twice a day, the interval between doses should be on average 12 hours. The minimum interval between doses of the drug is at least 4 hours.
The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the attending physician.
In cases where the drug is taken in large doses and / or for a long time, treatment should be stopped gradually in order to avoid withdrawal syndrome.
