ACT
Starter compound feed meets the requirements for protein and energy as much as possible. The development of the calf from dairy age to the highly resistant ruminant is supported, and feed intake is significantly increased in subsequent rearing periods.
DOSAGE AND METHOD OF APPLICATION
Starter training begins at 1.5 months of age. The calf is gradually transferred from the prestarter feed (81320-05) to the cheaper starter compound feed (81320-06).
Pour into the trough, monitor consumption. Protect feed from possible consumption by adult animals. Change the remains of feed to fresh one time a day. Fresh water should always be freely available. Feeding in pure form (individual or group feeder) or as part of a feed mixture.
The approximate amount of starter compound feed fed to one head during the rearing period from 2 to 6 months is 260-270 kg. When a calf consumes 1.5-2 kg of compound feed, milk or milk replacer can be completely abandoned.
It is imperative to ensure that animals have constant access to water.
