The drug is taken orally after meals. The tablet should be chewed and washed down with a little water.

Combined, the drug is balanced taking into account the daily requirement for vitamins and minerals in children. The compatibility of the components is ensured by a special technology for the production of vitamin and mineral complexes.

The effect of the drug is due to the effects of its constituent components:

Retinol (vitamin A) ensures the functional activity of the organs of vision. Essential for healthy skin, teeth, hair.

Alpha-tocopherol acetate (vitamin E) has antioxidant properties, prevents cell damage, and has a positive effect on the function of nerve and muscle tissue.

Colecalciferol (vitamin D3) regulates the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body, contributing to the process of osteogenesis. With a deficiency, calcium homeostasis and phosphorus metabolism are disturbed, strength and muscle tone are reduced. It is essential for the normal formation of bones and teeth.

Thiamin (vitamin B1) is involved in carbohydrate metabolism, normalizes the functioning of the nervous and cardiovascular systems.

Contraindications for use

• hypervitaminosis A;

• phenylketonuria;

• children under 3 years old;

• hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Application in children

Contraindicated in children under 3 years of age. For children over 3 years old, the drug is prescribed according to indications.

To avoid overdose, the dosage regimen of the drug should be strictly observed.

If allergic reactions to the components of the drug occur, the drug should be discontinued.

It is possible to stain urine in a bright yellow color, which is completely harmless and is explained by the presence of riboflavin in the preparation.

Overdose

Symptoms: if the therapeutic dose is repeatedly exceeded, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle weakness, caused by hypervitaminosis of vitamins A and D3, may occur. In case of overdose, consult a doctor.

Treatment: temporary discontinuation of the drug, gastric lavage, intake of activated charcoal inside, symptomatic treatment.

Drug interactions

The simultaneous use of other multivitamin complexes is not recommended in order to avoid overdose.

The drug contains calcium, therefore, it delays the absorption of antibiotics from the group of tetracyclines and fluoroquinolones in the intestine.
