DESCRIPTION
Inactivated combined vaccine against infectious rhinotracheia, parainfluenza-3, respiratory syncytial disease, viral diarrhea and pasteurellosis in cattle.
The vaccine is a light red liquid. The loose white precipitate formed during storage easily breaks up into a homogeneous suspension when shaken.
COMPOSITION
The vaccine is made from formalin-inactivated industrial strains of four viruses: infectious rhinotracheitis, parainfluenza-3, respiratory syncytial infection and viral diarrhea, Pasteurella multocida (serovars A, B, D), Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica with adjuvant aluminum hydroxide.
BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The vaccine induces the formation of immunity in cattle against infections caused by the viruses irt, pragrippa-3, respiratory-sencytial infection and viral diarrhea, as well as Pasteurella multocida (serovars A, B, D), Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica, 14 days after second immunization and lasts at least 8 months.
The vaccine is harmless and areactogenic, has no medicinal properties.
Immunity from cows vaccinated in the last period of pregnancy is transmitted to the offspring with colostrum. Colostral immunity in newborn calves occurs after timely intake of colostrum (no later than 2 hours after birth) and lasts up to 1.5 months.
INDICATIONS
The Kombovac-R vaccine is used for epizootic indications for the immunization of adult animals and calves in farms that are unfavorable for respiratory diseases in cattle.
APPLICATION
Only clinically healthy animals should be vaccinated. Before use in the cold season, the vaccine is heated to a temperature of 36-37 degrees. And in the process of use, the bottles are shaken until a homogeneous suspension is obtained.
The vaccine is administered intramuscularly to cows at a dose of 3 cm?, To calves - at a dose of 2 cm? in compliance with generally accepted rules of asepsis and antisepsis, sterile materials and instruments are used for injection. A separate needle is used for each animal.
Animals over 4 months of age are vaccinated twice intramuscularly at 3 cm? with an interval of 14-21 days. Revaccination is carried out once in the same dose, every 6 months.
