DESCRIPTION
Kombovac-K is a complex preparation for the prevention of 4 significant viral and bacterial diseases of cattle, characterized by gastrointestinal syndrome.
The vaccine is a light red liquid with a friable white precipitate.
COMPOSITION
The vaccine is made from inactivated industrial strains of viruses: rota-, corona- and viral diarrhea, protective antigens of Escherichia: somatic 09, 078, 0115; capsular polysaccharide K80, K30; adhesive antigens K 99, F-41; thermostable and thermolabile inactivated enterotoxins.
BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Immunity in vaccinated animals occurs 14 days after the second immunization and lasts for at least 6 months. Immunity from vaccinated cows is passed on to the offspring with colostrum and milk. Passive immunity in newborn calves lasts up to 1.5 months after the timely intake of colostrum.
INDICATIONS
The Kombovac-K vaccine is used to immunize pregnant cows in farms that are unfavorable for gastrointestinal diseases in newborn calves, in order to create colostral immunity. Clinically healthy animals are vaccinated.
APPLICATION
In the cold season, before use, the vaccine is heated to a temperature of 36-38 В° C.
The vaccine is injected into the neck area intramuscularly at a dose of 3 cm2. Cows are vaccinated twice: the first time - 40-50 days before calving, the second time - three weeks after the first immunization.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Store in a dry and dark place at temperatures between 2 В° C and 8 В° C. Subject to the conditions of storage and transportation, the shelf life is 18 months.
