Combovac inactivated combined vaccine for calves (50 doses) 100ml
DESCRIPTION
Kombovac-A is a vaccine against infectious rhinotracheitis, parainfluenza-3, viral diarrhea, respiratory syncytial, rota-, coronavirus diseases and adenovirus infection in cattle. In appearance, the vaccine is an emulsion of white or pale pink color, during storage of which slight delamination of the emulsion is allowed.
COMPOSITION
The Kombovac-A vaccine is made from a culture fluid infected with viruses: infectious rhinotracheitis (pcs. B-25 / pc. T), paragripe-3 (pc. B-19 / pc. BC-05), viral diarrhea (pc. CT- 89 / piece T-04), respiratory syncytial (piece 89 / piece TI), rota- (piece K-88), corona- (piece KV-90) and adenovirus (piece Alpha) formalin-inactivated cattle with the addition of 50% oil adjuvant.
BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The Kombovac-A vaccine induces the formation of an immune response in cattle to infections caused by viruses of infectious rhinotracheitis, parainfluenza-3, viral diarrhea, respiratory syncytial virus, rotavirus, coronavirus and cattle adenoviruses 14 days after double use, lasting 8 months in adults animals and 6 months in young animals under 1 year of age.
Immunity from cows vaccinated in the last period of pregnancy is transmitted to the offspring with colostrum. Colostral immunity in newborn calves occurs after timely drinking of colostrum (no later than 2 hours after birth). The vaccine is harmless and has no medicinal properties.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
The vaccine Kombovac-A is intended for the prevention of infectious rhinotracheitis, parainfluenza-3, viral diarrhea, respiratory syncytial, rota-, corona- and adenovirus infections of cattle in dysfunctional and threatened farms for these diseases.
The vaccine is administered intramuscularly to adult animals at a dose of 3 ml, to calves up to 1 year old - at a dose of 2 ml in compliance with the generally accepted rules of asepsis. Only sterile materials and instruments are used for injection. A separate needle or syringe is used for each animal.
Before use in the cold season, the vaccine is heated in a water bath to a temperature of 36-38 В° C, before and during use, the vials with the vaccine are shaken until a homogeneous emulsion is formed.
Vaccination Scheme No. 1. Cows and heifers of breeding age are vaccinated twice: 4 and 1 week before insemination, and then they are revaccinated twice before calving: the first time - 50-60 days before calving, the second time - after 14-21 days (but not later than 30 days before calving ).
Vaccination Scheme No. 2. All livestock of animals older than one year are vaccinated every 6 months twice with an interval of 14-21 days. It is not recommended to vaccinate animals 30 days before calving and within 3 weeks after calving.
Regardless of the vaccination scheme used for the adult livestock, calves are vaccinated at the age of 7-10 days and older twice with an interval of 20-25 days. The revaccination is carried out once in the same dose at the age of 6 months.
Bulls-producers are vaccinated every 6 months twice with an interval of 14-21 days.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Symptoms of the manifestation of diseases caused by viruses of infectious rhinotracheitis, parainfluenza-3, viral diarrhea, respiratory syncytial, rota-, corona- and adenoviruses, or other pathological signs in case of an overdose of the Kombovac-A vaccine were not detected.
The peculiarities of the post-vaccination reaction during primary immunization and revaccination have not been established.
Violations of the vaccination scheme should be avoided, since this can lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of immunization of diseases caused by viruses of infectious rhinotracheitis, parainfluenza-3, viral diarrhea, respiratory syncytial, rota-, corona- and adenoviruses. If the next vaccine injection is missed, it is necessary to immunize as soon as possible.
The Kombovac-A vaccine is not used in the same syringe with other biological products and medicines.
Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed no earlier than 3 weeks after vaccination.
Milk from vaccinated animals, meat and slaughter products are sold without restrictions.
