pharmachologic effect
Collomac is a keratolytic drug.
Salicylic acid has a keratolytic effect, has a weak antimicrobial activity.
Lactic acid contributes to the chemical destruction of warts.
Polidocanol has a local anesthetic effect, the local sclerosing effect prevents the recurrence of the disease.
Indications
Warts, calluses, calluses, keratinization of the skin, genital warts (including classic flattened and giant condylomas Buschke - Livenstein), hyperkeratosis in psoriasis (including palmar-plantar).
Contraindications
If you are hypersensitive to salicylic acid, salicylates or any other components of the drug, Collomac should not be used.
You can not use Kollomak when treating infants.
special instructions
Collomac should not be applied to moles, hairy warts, genital or facial warts. Collomac should not be used in patients with impaired renal function (renal failure). In these patients, the use of medicinal products containing salicylates can be carried out with extreme caution. Avoid getting the drug on mucous membranes, especially in the eyes. If this happens, flush the area with plenty of water. Close the bottle tightly after use! During pregnancy, the use of Kollomak is allowed only when applied to a limited area of the skin (no more than 5 cm2). When using Kollomak, it is possible to continue breastfeeding during treatment.Avoid accidental ingestion of salicylic acid by an infant by contact with treated surfaces of the mother's body.
Structure
10 g of solution contains: 2.0 g of salicylic acid, 0.5 g of lactic acid, 0.2 g of polidocanol 600.
Method of administration and dosage
Apply one drop of Kollomak solution to the affected skin areas 1-2 times a day.
With plantar warts, hyperkeratosis of the feet (callousness), a warm foot bath enhances the therapeutic effect.
The duration of treatment is set individually, depending on the effectiveness of the drug.
For adults, the maximum dose of Kollomac is 10 ml per day, which corresponds to 2 g of salicylic acid per day.
Calluses and calluses can usually be removed after 3-4 days after taking a warm foot bath.
For children, the maximum dose of Kollomac is 1 ml / day, which corresponds to 0.2 g of salicylic acid.
Do not exceed this dose.
When treating children, do not treat several skin areas at the same time.
Attention: Collomac is used only for external use.
The collomac should not come into contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
To avoid damage to the surrounding skin when applying Collomak, it is protected with zinc paste.

Overdose
