DESCRIPTION:
Clozatrem is a drug in the form of a solution for injection, intended for the treatment and prevention of helminthiasis and gadfly infestations in cattle and small ruminants. Clozatrem is released as a sterile solution. In appearance, the drug is a clear liquid from light yellow to light brown.

Clozatrem is equally active against both preimaginal and imaginal forms of trematodes (Fasciola hepatica)
COMPOSITION
Closatrem contains closantel - 50 mg / cm3 as an active ingredient, as well as auxiliary components.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
After parenteral administration of the drug, closantel is rapidly absorbed from the injection site and penetrates into most organs and tissues, reaching a maximum concentration in the blood after 10-12 hours. In a therapeutic concentration, closantel remains in the body for up to 10 days; It is excreted mainly with bile, mainly unchanged, in lactating animals - partly with milk.
INDICATIONS
ClozatremВ® is prescribed for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes in cattle with hemonchosis, esophagostomosis, bunostomiasis, trichostrongylosis, ostertagiasis, fascioliasis and hypodermatosis, sheep and goats - for hemonchosis, nematodyrosis, trichostrongylosis.
DOSES AND METHOD OF APPLICATION
The drug is administered to animals once in compliance with the rules of asepsis and antiseptics:
in cattle intramuscularly or subcutaneously with nematodes and fascioliasis at a dose of 0.5 ml per 10 kg of animal weight (2.5 mg / kg DV), with hypodermatosis - 1 ml per 10 kg of animal weight (5 mg / kg DV);
Sheep and goats subcutaneously for nematodes and estrosis - 0.5 ml per 10 kg of animal weight (2.5 mg / kg DV), with fascioliasis - 1 ml per 10 kg of animal weight (5 mg / kg DV).
In order to avoid a painful reaction, the maximum volume of the drug for administration in one place should not exceed 20 ml for adult cattle, 10 ml for sheep, goats and calves. Before mass treatments, each series of ClozatremВ® is tested on a small group (5-7 heads) of animals of different fatness. In the absence of complications within 3 days, the drug is used for the entire livestock. Treatment of animals against helminths for therapeutic purposes is carried out according to indications, with prophylactic treatment - before stalling and in the spring before pasture, against gadfly infestations - immediately after the end of summer gadflies and in spring (February-March).
SIDE EFFECTS
With the correct dosage, no side effects are observed. In case of an overdose of the drug, weakness, vomiting and diarrhea may occur.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
ClozatremВ® should not be used in animals weakened, exhausted and sick with infectious diseases, as well as simultaneously with organochlorine and organophosphate drugs.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
It is prohibited to use milk from animals for food purposes within 14 days after administration of the drug. It can be used to feed animals. Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed no earlier than 28 days after the application of ClozatremВ®. In case of forced slaughter of a previously established period, the meat can be used as animal feed or in the production of meat and bone meal.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Store the medicinal product in the manufacturer's closed packaging in a dry place protected from direct sunlight, separately from food and feed, at a temperature of 5 В° C to 25 В° C. The shelf life of ClozatremВ®, subject to storage conditions in a closed manufacturer's packaging, is 3 years from the date of manufacture, after the first opening of the bottle - no more than 28 days.
