COMPOSITION AND FORM OF ISSUE
Closalben 10% water-insoluble powder contains in 1 g as active ingredients 50 mg of albendozole and 50 mg of closantel, respectively. Closalben 10% is produced in the form of a light gray to brown powder in laminated bags or plastic cans of 1000 g.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The active components of Clozalben, possessing a synergistic effect, cause the death of endo- and ectoparasites of ruminants, including trematodes, nematodes, cestodes, incl. resistant to benzimidazoles, as well as gadfly larvae and sarcoptoid ticks. The drug disrupts the processes of oxidative phosphorylation and reduces the activity of parasite enzymes, which leads to their paralysis and death.
INDICATION
Deworming of cattle, sheep, goats and deer with fascioliasis, dicroceliosis, moniesiasis, dictyocaulosis, ostertagiasis, haemonhoses, trichostrongylosis, cooperiosis, esophagostomiasis, edemagenosis; treatment of cattle with hypodermatosis, sheep with estrosis and psoroptosis.
DOSAGE
In case of helminthiasis and gadfly infestations, Klosalben10 is used - at a dose of 80 mg / kg of animal weight once, individually or in a group way in a mixture with food or forced to drink from a bottle in the form of an aqueous suspension.
In case of psoroptosis of sheep, the drug is used twice with an interval of 7 days, and for prophylactic purposes in farms unfavorable for psoroptosis, once in a dose of 200 mg / kg of body weight.
It is advisable to deworm animals twice a year: two weeks before pasture and before stalling. Treatment of animals against hypodermatosis, edemagenosis and estrosis is carried out after the end of the summer of the gadfly.
Treatment of sheep with psoroptosis is carried out according to indications at any time of the year.
Each batch of the drug is preliminarily tested on a small group (7-10) animal heads, which are monitored for 2 to 3 days. In the absence of complications, the drug is used for the entire livestock.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
It is forbidden to use Clozalben for dairy animals whose milk is used for human consumption.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
In terms of toxicity for warm-blooded animals, Closalben belongs to the IV hazard class - “low-hazard drugs”. In a therapeutic dose, Closalben does not have teratogenic, embryotoxic, mutagenic, and allergenic properties. Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed no earlier than 20 days after the last injection of the drug. In case of the forced slaughter of animals before the established date, meat and meat products can be used for the preparation of meat and bone meal.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
Store the drug with caution (list B) in a dry, dark place at a temperature not exceeding 30 В° C. The shelf life of the drug, subject to storage conditions, is 2 years from the date of manufacture.
