DESCRIPTION

Chlortab - a disinfectant is a cylindrical white tablet with a characteristic chlorine odor, weighing 3.5 В± 0.3 g. ). Aqueous solutions do not damage treated surfaces made of wood, glass, polymeric materials, as well as dishes, toys, patient care items and medical products made of corrosion-resistant metals, glass, rubber, and plastics.

COMPOSITION

Does the product contain the sodium salt of dichloroisocyanuric acid as an active ingredient? 74.6%, as well as auxiliary substances: adipic acid, sodium bicarbonate. The mass of active chlorine in one tablet is 1.50 В± 0.15 g, disintegration time is not more than 10 minutes.

PROPERTIES

The agent has an antimicrobial effect against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria (including mycobacterium tuberculosis, causative agents of especially dangerous infections - plague, cholera, tularemia, anthrax), viruses, fungi of the genus Candida and Trichophyton. The product retains its properties after freezing and subsequent thawing.

According to the parameters of acute toxicity according to GOST 12.1.007-76, the drug belongs to the 3rd class of moderately hazardous substances when administered into the stomach and to the 4th class of low hazardous substances when applied to the skin, according to the classification of K.K.Sidorov. When administered parenterally (into the abdominal cavity), it belongs to the 4th class of low toxic substances, with inhalation exposure in saturating concentrations (vapors) it is highly dangerous according to the classification of inhalation hazard of agents according to the degree of volatility (hazard class 2); with direct contact, it causes severe irritation of the skin and mucous membranes of the eyes, does not have a sensitizing property.

Working solutions 0.015 - 0.30% (according to AH) in the form of vapors do not cause irritation of the respiratory system, with a single exposure they do not have a local irritating effect on the skin.

Working solutions with an active chlorine content of 0.1% (according to AX) and higher when using the method of irrigation and wiping cause irritation of the upper respiratory tract and mucous membranes of the eyes.

Maximum concentration limit in the air of the working area for chlorine is 1 mg / m3.

MODE OF APPLICATION

Working solutions of the agent are prepared in enamel (without damaging the enamel), glass or plastic containers by dissolving the appropriate amounts of tablets in drinking water at room temperature until they are completely dissolved (Table 1).
