Working solutions when used by irrigation, as well as activated solutions, cause severe irritation of the respiratory system and eyes.
The maximum concentration limit for chlorine in the air of the working area is 1 mg / m3.
PURPOSE
Chloramine B 99.9 is intended for: disinfection of surfaces in rooms, hard furniture, sanitary equipment, rubber mats, plastic and rubber footwear, linen, dishes, toys, patient care items, medical products, medical waste, including dressings (cotton-gauze dressings, tampons, etc.), underwear and medical products for single use; harvesting material, secretions during infections of bacterial (including tuberculosis) and viral etiology, candidiasis and dermatophytosis, especially dangerous infections (anthrax, plague, cholera, tularemia) during final, current and preventive disinfection in infectious foci, medical institutions, in clinical, microbiological, virological laboratories, children's institutions, on ambulance transport; general cleaning in medical and childcare facilities; preventive disinfection at communal facilities (hotels, hostels, hairdressers, public toilets), cultural, recreational and sports establishments (sports and cultural and recreational complexes, swimming pools, cinemas, offices, etc.), sanitary checkpoints, social security institutions and penitentiary institutions; catering and trade enterprises, use by the population in everyday life. social welfare institutions and penitentiaries; catering and trade enterprises, use by the population in everyday life. social welfare institutions and penitentiaries; catering and trade enterprises, use by the population in everyday life.
MODE OF APPLICATION
Chloramine B 99.9 is used in the form of non-activated and activated solutions with ammonium salts or ammonia.
Working solutions of the agent are prepared in an enamel, glass or polyethylene container by stirring the powder in water until complete dissolution in accordance with the calculations given in tables 1 and 2.
Preparation of non-activated solutions of Chloramine B 99.9:
Working solution concentration,% by: The amount of the product (g) required to prepare a solution with a volume of:
drug active chlorine 1L 10L
0.2 0.05 2.0 20
0.5 0.13 5.0 50
0.75 0.19 7.5 75

4.0 1.0 40.0 400
5.0 1.25 50.0 500
Note: for faster dissolution of the product, use water heated to 50-60 В° C.
To impart detergent properties to the working solutions of the 'Chloramine B 99.9' agent, you can add synthetic detergents approved for use in medical institutions in an amount of 0.5% (5 g / l solution or 50 g / 10 l solution).
Activated solutions of the agent are prepared by adding an activator to its working solutions (one of the ammonium salts - ammonium chloride, sulfate, ammonium nitrate or ammonia). The ratio of the amount of ammonium salt and the amount of active chlorine in the working solution is 1: 2, and the ratio of ammonia and the amount of active chlorine is 1: 8. The activated solutions are used immediately after preparation. When preparing activated solutions of Chloramine B 99.9, use the calculations given in table. 2.
Working solution concentration,% by: The amount of activator (g) added to:
drug active chlorine 1L 10L

Solutions of the agent are used for disinfection of surfaces in rooms (floor, walls, doors, hard furniture, etc.), sanitary equipment (baths, sinks, etc.), rubber mats, cleaning material, linen, tableware, laboratory and for secretions, toys, patient care items, medical products made of corrosion-resistant metals, glass, plastics, rubbers, secretions (sputum, feces, etc.), sanitary transport.
It is allowed to use solutions of Chloramine B 99.9 with the addition of synthetic detergents approved for use in health care facilities, in an amount of 0.5% (5 g / l solution or 50 g / 10 l solution).
Disinfection of objects is carried out by means of wiping, irrigation, immersion, soaking and falling asleep. Modes of disinfection of objects with solutions of Chloramine B 99.9 are given in table. 3-12.
Surfaces in the premises (floor, walls, etc.), sanitary equipment (baths, sinks, etc.), sanitary vehicles are wiped with a cloth soaked in a solution of the product or irrigated from a hydraulic control unit, an automax, a sprayer of the Quasar type. The consumption rate of the solution for wiping is 150 ml / m2 of the surface, when using a solution with a detergent - 100 ml / m2, for irrigation - 300 ml / m2 (hydraulic control panel, automax), - 150 ml / m2 (spray type Quasar). At the end of disinfection, sanitary equipment is washed with water, the room is ventilated.
Disinfection (neutralization) of medical waste of classes B and C of medical institutions, including infectious diseases departments, dermatovenerologic, phthisiatric and mycological hospitals, as well as laboratories working with microorganisms of 1-4 pathogenicity groups (including especially dangerous infections), is performed taking into account the requirements of Sanitary Rules and Norms SanPiN 2.1.728-99 Rules for the collection, storage and disposal of waste from medical institutions.
Disinfection of single-use medical devices is carried out in plastic or enameled (without damaging the enamel) containers, closed with lids. When disinfecting, the products are completely immersed in the solution of the product. Detachable products are immersed in a disassembled solution. Products with locking parts are immersed open, having previously made several working movements in the solution for better penetration of the solution into hard-to-reach areas of the products. During soaking (disinfection holding), channels and cavities must be filled (without air locks) with a solution. The thickness of the mortar layer above the products must be at least 1 cm.
For detailed application, see the instructions for use.
