Chamomile flowers contain essential oil, flavonoids, coumarins and other biologically active substances.
Description:
A mixture of powder particles with pieces of cut-pressed flowers of various shapes. Color from greenish to brownish yellow with yellowish green, grayish green, brownish and white blotches. The smell is fragrant. The taste of the aqueous extract is bitter-spicy, with a slimy sensation.
Pharmacotherapeutic group:
Herbal antispasmodic.
Pharmacological action: The
infusion has an anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and moderate antimicrobial effect, reduces fermentation processes in the intestine and increases the secretion of the digestive glands.
Indications for use:
Applied orally in complex therapy for chronic gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, for chronic enteritis, chronic colitis, flatulence, intestinal spasms, diarrhea.
Locally - for rinsing with infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis).
In the form of microclysters, it is used for spastic colitis, hemorrhoids.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Method of administration and dosage:
2 filter bags (3.0 g) are placed in a glass or enamel dish, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) boiling water, cover and infuse for 15 minutes, periodically pressing the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them ... The volume of the resulting infusion is brought up to 100 ml with boiled water.
It is taken orally in a warm form, 2-3 tablespoons of the infusion 2-3 times a day before meals.
For rinsing the mouth and throat, 1/2 -1 glass of warm infusion 3-5 times a day.
For microclysters, use 50 ml of warm infusion 1-2 times a day.
The course of treatment is 2 weeks.
It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.
