DESCRIPTION

Celandine Plus - effective for protection against fleas, ticks, lice, lice.

Celandine collar is used to kill fleas, lice, lice and ixodid ticks that parasitize dogs and cats, especially in the warm season (during the period of increased activity of parasites).

COMPOSITION

Contains 5% permethrin as an active ingredient, and C-70-59-M as PVX auxiliary substances, chalk, di- (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DOP), epoxidized soybean oil, coniferous perfume, calcium stearate, tribasic lead sulfate and titanium dioxide.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Pharmacological group - insectoacaricidal agent.

Permethrin, which is part of the collar, is gradually released from the surface of the tape, is transferred to the skin and hair of the animal, without being absorbed into the systemic circulation, accumulates in the epidermis, hair follicles and sebaceous glands and has a long-term contact insectoacaricidal effect on insects and ixodid mites parasitizing on dogs and cats.

Celandine collar is well tolerated by dogs and cats, does not have local irritating and resorptive-toxic properties.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

After opening the package, the collar is unfolded and put on the animal, adjusting in size so that a gap of 1.0-1.5 cm remains between the animal's neck and the collar, then fixed with a retainer and the excess tape is cut off.

The constant wearing of the Celandine collar protects dogs and cats from ixodid ticks for 3 months, and from insects for 4 months.

For maximum effect, it is recommended to put the collar on the animal 2-3 days before the expected contact with the parasites.

With a strong degree of infection of the animal with insects, it is advisable to wash the animal with an insecticidal shampoo before using the Celandine collar, and treat the bedding with an insecticidal agent in accordance with the instructions for use.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Overdose symptoms with the use of the drug were not identified.

Should not be used simultaneously with other insectoacaricidal preparations.

The celandine collar is not intended for use by productive animals.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

The celandine collar must not be used by patients with infectious diseases and recovering animals, lactating and pregnant females, puppies and kittens under 4 months of age, as well as by the increased individual sensitivity of animals to the components of the drug.

SIDE EFFECTS

As a rule, there are no side effects and complications when using Celandine collar in accordance with this instruction. With increased individual sensitivity of the animal to permethrin, individual reactions are possible (excessive salivation, lacrimation, signs of skin irritation), in these cases the collar is removed, the animal is washed with soap and rinsed with plenty of running water, and, if necessary, antihistamines and symptomatic agents are prescribed.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

The shelf life of the drug, subject to storage conditions, is 3 years from the date of production.

Store the collar in the manufacturer's closed packaging in a dry place protected from direct sunlight, separate from food and feed at temperatures from 0 В° C to 30 В° C in places inaccessible to children.

PACKAGING

The celandine collar is produced in a length of 50 cm in individual hermetically sealed plastic bags placed individually in cardboard boxes along with instructions for use.
