Pharmacological action

Camphor alcohol has an antimicrobial, local irritant, local analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. Exciting sensitive nerve endings of the skin, dilates blood vessels and improves trophic organs and tissues.

Pharmacokinetics

When applied to the surface of the skin, it is partially absorbed and oxidized. Oxidation products combine with glucuronic acid and excreted by the kidneys. Part of camphor stands out unchanged in the lungs and with bile.

Indications

Arthralgia,

myalgia,

sciatica,

radiculitis,

itchy skin,

prevention of pressure sores.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity,

Composition of

1 ml of solution for external use contains: active ingredient: camphor racemic 100 mg

excipient: ethyl alcohol 70%.

Dosage and administration

Outwardly, camphor alcohol is applied to the affected and painful areas in the form of compresses, rubbing 2-3 times a day. The duration of treatment is 7-10 days.

Prevention of pressure sores: treatment of the skin 2-3 times a day.
