Pharmacological action of

Cameton is a combined drug whose action is determined by its constituents.

Chlorobutanol Hemidrate has a mild anesthetic, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect.

Camphor racemic has an irritating and somewhat antiseptic effect, increases blood flow at the site of application.

Levomenthol has a local irritant effect, accompanied by a sensation of cold, light burning and tingling, has a local anesthetic effect, and also has weak antiseptic properties.

Eucalyptus leaf oil has a stimulating effect on the receptors of the mucous membranes, also has a weak local anti-inflammatory and antiseptic activity.

Due to the low systemic absorption, data on the pharmacokinetics of the drug are not available.

Indications

Combination therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the ENT organs (rhinitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis).

Use during pregnancy and lactation

There is no sufficient experience with the use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation. If you need to use the drug during pregnancy, you should evaluate the potential benefits for the mother and the possible risk to the fetus. Due to the low systemic absorption of the components that make up the drug, it can be used during lactation.

Composition

1 bottle contains:

Active substances (content in one bottle): chlorobutanol hemihydrate, synthetic camphor, L-menthol (levomenthol), 0.1 g eucalyptus oil

Excipient: isopropyl myristate, propellant R 134a (1,1,1,2 tetrafluoroethane).

Dosage and administration

Sprayed in the nasal or oral cavity at the inhalation phase 3-4 times a day. For one inhalation session, 2-3 sprayings are carried out, the sprayed drug is inhaled for 1-2 minutes.

With one click on the valve, 100 mg of the drug is sprayed from the bottle.

Side effects

Individual intolerance, allergic reactions in the form of skin rash are possible.

Drug Interaction

Systemic effects on the use of the drug for its intended purpose are virtually eliminated, which allows parallel use of other drugs without the risk of their interaction with the components of the drug.
