Pharmacological action

Natekal D3 - a combined drug that regulates the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body. Reduces resorption (resorption) and increases bone density, making up for the lack of calcium and vitamin D3 in the body.

Vitamin D3 increases the absorption of calcium in the gastrointestinal tract and its binding in bone tissue. The use of calcium and vitamin D3 prevents the increase in the production of parathyroid hormone (which stimulates increased bone resorption (leaching of calcium from the bones).

Indications

Osteoporosis (menopausal, senile, steroid, idiopathic, etc.) and its complications, including bone fractures (prevention and complex therapy) replenishment of a lack of calcium and vitamin D3 (including in the elderly).

Contraindications

Special instructions

Dosage and administration

Inside, absorbable, as a prophylactic: adults - 1-2 tablets per day for the course of prevention of osteoporosis: 1 tablet 2 times a day, morning and evening (preferably with meals), for therapy osteoporosis: dosage and duration of the course are determined by the doctor.

Side effects of

Dyspeptic symptoms (constipation, diarrhea, flatulence, nausea, abdominal pain) increase in blood and urine calcium (with prolonged use).

Drug Interactions

The effect is weakened by phenytoin and barbiturates, enhanced by cardiac glycosides. Calcium and vitamin D3 increase the absorption of tetracyclines (a 3-hour interval between doses is needed), and reduce - bisphosphonates and fluorides (a 2-hour interval between doses is needed). Corticosteroids lower calcium absorption, furosemide and other loop diuretics increase kidney excretion of calcium. Mineral or vegetable oil-based cholestyramine and laxatives reduce the absorption of vitamin D3. The acid reaction of food products increases the absorption of calcium, slightly alkaline - reduces.
