The emulsifying concentrate contains 5% synthetic pyrethroid deltamethrin.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Butox 50 has a wide spectrum of insect-acaricidal action, is active against ixodid, scabies, chicken, cat mites, flies, gnats, bedbugs and other animal ectoparasites. Deltamethrin entering the body of arthropods by contact or enterality accumulates in the ganglia of the peripheral nerves and inhibits their activity. Violates the coordination of movements of the pathogen, causing then its paralysis, lethargy and death.
The drug is moderately toxic for warm-blooded animals; in the recommended doses and concentrations, it does not have a local irritating and allergenic effect. Effective against ectoparasites resistant to phosphorus and organochlorine compounds. Toxic to fish and bees.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Butox 50 is used only for external treatment of animals and premises. Immediately before use, prepare an aqueous working emulsion of the drug. Animals are treated by spraying or bathing.
Buying animals
Before carrying out mass treatments, each batch of Butox 50 is preliminarily tested on a small group of animals (10 - 15 heads) of different fatness and age, which are monitored for 2 - 3 days. In the absence of complications, the entire livestock of animals is processed.
After cleaning the bathing tub, make a preliminary mixture of the required amount of Butox 50 (in accordance with the dosage for bathing). Distribute the solution throughout the volume of the container, then stir for 10 minutes. To get a perfect emulsion, you first need to run 20 agitator animals through the container. After the animals have taken out 10% of the total volume of the working fluid from the bath, it is supplemented to the initial level. At the same time, 0.9 l of Butox 50 is added to each ton of added water. Make sure that the first 20 animals are washed again during the bathing course. Animals should not be tired or thirsty before processing. Treatment in very hot weather is not recommended. After processing 2.5 - 3 thousand sheep, the acaricidal liquid is poured into settling wells, not allowing it to enter bodies of water or rivers. The bath is thoroughly cleaned of dirt and rinsed with water, which is also drained into settling wells.
Spraying animals
Before using Butox 50, it is necessary to make a preliminary mixture in 1 liter of water, add it to the required amount of water in the spray tank and mix thoroughly. During each course of treatment, a minimum of 3 liters of diluted product must be used per animal. The sequence of spraying the animal: ears, head, body, tail, area around the anus, limbs. Particular attention must be paid to the affected areas. Do not wash off the drug. It is not recommended to spray against the wind.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 5 days after processing. In the case of forced slaughter of an earlier established date, the meat is used as feed for carnivores or for the production of meat and bone meal.
Milk from dairy animals must not be used for food purposes within 3 days after processing, but is suitable for animal feeding.
It is not allowed to get the emulsion into the eyes, nose and mouth of the animal.
The simultaneous use of FOS with Butox 50 reduces the rate of biotransformation of the drug and increases its toxicity.
It is forbidden to store and transport Butox 50 and containers from under it along with food and fodder.
All work with the drug is carried out using overalls (dressing gown, rubberized apron, hat, rubber boots and gloves, goggles, respirator).
Do not smoke, drink or eat while working. After finishing work, wash your face and hands thoroughly with soap and rinse your mouth. In case of accidental contact of the drug on the skin or mucous membranes, immediately wash off with a stream of water or remove with a swab; if swallowed, drink 2 - 3 tablets of activated carbon with warm water.
The container contaminated with the preparation is neutralized for 5 - 6 hours with a 3 - 5% solution of soda ash, then washed with water. The remains of the drug are neutralized with a 5% solution of caustic alkali or an aqueous suspension of slaked lime or bleach (suspension in water 1: 3).
It is not allowed to get the concentrate, solution residues or used containers into water bodies, it is forbidden to contaminate cattle pens, water pipes and gutters with them. The containers must be thoroughly cleaned by rinsing well. Neutralized residues of insecticide and flushing water after processing containers and overalls are poured into a pit with a depth of at least 0.5 m, located away from water supply sources, reservoirs, rivers and grazing places and buried.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Sick and weak animals are not treated. It is not recommended to use Butox 50 in combination with organophosphate insecticides, which can impair metabolism and thus increase the toxicity of deltamethrin.
