DESCRIPTION
Busol (BusolС€n) - the drug is used to regulate reproductive function in cows, mares, pigs and rabbits. Busol is a clear, colorless injection solution.
COMPOSITION
1.0cm drug? solution contains buserelin acetate 0.0042mg.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Buserelin, which is part of the drug, is a synthetic analogue of the natural gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), which stimulates the secretion of the anterior pituitary gland of luteinizing (LH) and follicle-stimulating (FSH) hormones.
The mechanism of action of buserelin is identical to that of natural gonadoliberin - releasing FSH and LH from the pituitary gland into the blood, stimulates the growth and maturation of follicles, the synthesis and secretion of estrogen, induces ovulation, and controls the function of the corpus luteum.
After administration of the drug, the maximum concentration of buserelin in the blood is reached after 60 minutes.
After injection, buserelin accumulates in the liver and kidneys. Enzymatic cleavage of buserelin occurs in the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, liver and kidneys.
Residues of alcohol solutions and disinfectants reduce the activity of buserelin.
Interactions with other drugs are not known.

Busol is used to regulate reproductive function in cows (induction of ovulation, increase in fertility, synchronization of sexual estrus, treatment for hypofunction and ovarian follicular cysts), mares, pigs and rabbits (induction of ovulation and increase in fertility).
