Pharmacological action

The drug Brilliant green alcohol solution has a disinfecting effect. The activity of the drug is significantly reduced if the wound or abrasion bleeds.

Indications

Fresh postoperative and post-traumatic scars, abrasions, pyoderma, blepharitis. It is also used to treat the edges of healthy skin around the affected areas.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Composition

1 ml of alcohol solution for external use contains :active substance: brilliant green (bis (para-diethylamino) triphenyl anhydrocarbinol oxalate) 10 mg

Dosage and administration

Externally, apply to the damaged surface, capturing the surrounding healthy tissue.

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible with the use of the drug. If an antiseptic gets on the mucous membrane of the eye, a burning sensation, lacrimation is noted.

Drug interactions

Incompatible with disinfectants containing active iodine, chlorine, alkali (including ammonia solution).
