DESCRIPTION

Bromine paste is a rodenticidal agent for killing mice and rats. It is a ready-made food-based poisonous bait in the form of soft briquettes of red or other bright colors in tea paper.

COMPOSITION

The product contains as an active ingredient: bromadiolone (second generation anticoagulant) - 0.005%. The product contains dye and bitrex, necessary to prevent accidental poisoning of humans and pets.

BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

The agent has high rodenticidal activity for rats and mice. A lethal dose can be received by a rodent as a result of one or two meals of the bait. Poisoning symptoms are typical of anticoagulants. The death of gray rats occurs on the 6-11th day after eating the bait, in mice on the 8-14th day after eating.

Rodenticidal agent Bromine-paste according to the parameters of acute toxicity according to GOST 12.1.007-76 and the Classification of toxicity and hazard of rodenticides when administered into the stomach and applied to the skin belongs to the 4th class of low-hazard substances. The tool has a pronounced cumulative effect, and therefore it is dangerous if it is systematically introduced into the body. A little dangerous when inhaled. The local irritant effect on the skin is not pronounced with a single exposure and is weakly expressed with repeated exposure. The agent has a weak local irritant effect on the mucous membranes of the eyes. Skin resorptive action has not been established. Has no sensitizing effect.

The active substance (bromadiolone) belongs to the group of 4-hydroxy-coumarins with an anticoagulant nature of action. For acute toxicity when introduced into the stomach and applied to the skin, it is an extremely dangerous substance (hazard class 1). Possesses pronounced cumulative properties. With a single exposure, it does not irritate the skin and slightly irritates the mucous membranes of the eyes. Has no long-term aftereffects.

Maximum concentration limit of bromadiolone in the air of the working area is 0.01 mg / m2, (aerosol, hazard class 1.)

PURPOSE

The product is intended to combat gray, black rats and mouse-like rodents by the professional contingent in the practice of medical deratization, as well as by the population in everyday life, strictly in accordance with consumer ethics.

The tool is used in built-up and undeveloped areas of settlements at objects of various categories, including industrial, food, in residential premises, children's (in places inaccessible to children or in their absence, with the exception of bedrooms and playrooms) and medical and preventive institutions (in including wards of health care facilities during periods of absence of patients), in warehouses for storing agricultural products, as well as in foci of natural focal infections.

APPLICATION

The bait is laid out in places where traces of the vital activity of rodents are found: near their holes, on the paths of movement, along walls, partitions, etc.

In the habitats of rats, depending on their number, the bait is laid out in portions of 3-5 briquettes at a distance of 3-10 m from each other.

In the habitats of house mice, depending on their number, the bait is laid out in portions of 1-2 briquettes at a distance of 2-5 m from each other.

The laid out bait is examined for the first 1-2 days after the layout, and then at intervals of 1 week, replenishing the eaten portions to the original volume. Contaminated or spoiled bait is replaced with a new one. The agent left untouched by rats or mice for more than a week is transferred to other places visited by rodents. The processing of the object (room) is completed when the bait remains intact by rodents in all places of its layout.

The remains of not eaten (spoiled) bait, as well as the corpses of rodents, are collected in tightly closed containers (plastic bags, glass or metal cans, etc.) for subsequent disposal.

PRECAUTIONS

Work with a rodenticidal agent should be carried out in accordance with the Sanitary and Epidemiological Requirements for Deratization, only by trained personnel who have undergone special instructions, with strict observance of precautionary measures. Persons under 18 years of age and suffering from blood and liver diseases are not allowed to work.

All manipulations with baits are carried out in overalls (dressing gown, hat) and rubber gloves. Avoid getting bait into mouth, eyes and skin. Do not use food utensils.

Lay out poisoned baits in rubber gloves or with the help of devices that exclude their contact with unprotected skin (syringes, scoops, etc.). Do the same when collecting the remains of bait and corpses of rodents.

Do not smoke, drink or eat while working. At the end of work, wash your hands and face with warm water and soap.

The bait in the places where it is laid out must be accessible for children and pets. The management and personnel of the processed object should be informed about the presence of rodenticide, precautions and the degree of toxicity. It is forbidden to transfer the bait to unauthorized persons who do not have special professional training.

When processing children's, medical and food items, special precautions must be taken: lay out and leave the baits in rooms inaccessible to children, or during their absence (except for playrooms and bedrooms); Place the baits in special containers accessible only to rodents, excluding the spread of poison by rodents and its ingress into food products, medicines and household items; The containers with the bait should be numbered, handed over against receipt to the customer and completely assembled in plastic bags after the end of the cycle of deratization work. At the end of the work, clean the premises, paying special attention to the removal of possible bait residues. The collected corpses of rodents and the remains of the bait must be buried in the ground to a depth of at least 0.5 m (far from water bodies and water sources) or burned in the open air or in a boiler room.

When deratization in places of open storage of food, water and fodder, in premises (workshops) for processing food, special care should be taken. Bait placement is allowed only in bait houses. It is forbidden to lay out the bait in places accessible to children and pets, including birds.

It is not permissible to get the bait into water bodies and other sources of water supply, into waste (surface) or cargo water and into the sewage system. The bait is highly toxic to aquatic organisms.

FIRST AID MEASURES

Due to the high toxicity of bromodiolone, when a large amount of bait enters the human body, poisoning is possible, the signs of which are: bitterness in the mouth, apathy, pallor, traces of blood in the urine and extremes.

The victim should be immediately removed from contact with rodenticides, measures should be taken to remove the poison from the body and first aid should be provided.

If the agent or bait enters the stomach of the victim, immediately (no later than 30 minutes) induce vomiting after ingestion of a large amount of water or a weakly pink potassium permanganate solution. Repeat the procedure 2-3 times. It is forbidden to induce vomiting in an unconscious victim and in the presence of seizures. Then give a suspension of activated charcoal to drink (1-2 tablespoons per glass of water), then give a saline laxative (1 tablespoon of Glauber's salt per 2 glasses of water).

After contact with skin, wash skin with soap and water.

In case of contact with eyes, rinse them abundantly with clean water, and then with 2% baking soda solution for 5-10 minutes. In case of eye irritation, drip a 20-30% sodium sulfacil solution.

After providing first aid, as well as in case of signs of poisoning, you should immediately consult a doctor.

Vitamin K3 (vicasol) or K1 (phytomenadione) are used as an antidote, as well as preparations based on them, under medical supervision.

STORAGE

Store in a dry, well-ventilated, dark place at temperatures from minus 20 В° C to plus 30 В° C, separate from disinfectants, other pesticides, food products, medicines and fodder, as well as odorless chemicals. Shelf life under storage conditions is 24 months.
