DESCRIPTION

BoyKot - rodenticidal agent is a ready-to-use red jelly-like bait with crushed or whole grain.

COMPOSITION

The active ingredient (AD) of the bait is the anticoagulant bromadiolone at a concentration of 0.005%. The bait contains: grain of wheat, oats, corn, sunflower, food flavoring, caramel, nuts, flour, paraffin, gelling agent, vegetable oil, preservative. The bait also contains indicators warning a person about the danger of a dark red dye and bitterness - Bitrex, necessary to prevent accidental ingestion of the product for other purposes.

PROPERTIES

The bait has a high rodenticidal activity against gray rats and house mice. When eating the BoyKat agent, rodents can receive a lethal dose within one to two days, but 100% death of rats occurs within 4 - 8, of mice within 4 - 10 days.

According to the parameters of acute toxicity in accordance with the classification of toxicity and danger of rodenticides when administered into the stomach of rats and mice, the drug belongs to the IV class of low-hazard substances. It is characterized by a lack of species sensitivity. It has a pronounced cumulative effect (Kkum <1) and does not pose a hazard, based on the type of the formulation, during inhalation and resorption through the skin. When the drug enters the body of rodents, clinical signs of animal intoxication are characteristic of anticoagulant poisoning - lethargy, low mobility, lack of response to external stimuli, bleeding from the nose and anus.

PURPOSE

Rodenticidal agent BoyKot is intended to combat rats and house mice by personnel of organizations entitled to engage in disinfection activities at categorical objects, subject to its regulated use (food, children's and medical) and by the population in residential premises.

MODE OF APPLICATION

The bait is placed in small containers (such as boxes, trays, boxes) or in special containers, as well as on substrates made of thick paper, polyethylene, disposable paper or plastic plates. The agent is laid out in the habitats of rats and house mice: 20-30 g for one place of the layout for mice and 50-100 g for one place for the layout for rats. In rooms, containers with bait are placed on the paths of movement of rodents and, first of all, in the corners, along walls and partitions, under furniture, near burrows. Lay out the bait in dry and wet places.

The distance between the places for laying out the containers with the bait varies from 2 to 15 m, depending on the area, shape, nature and condition of the room, as well as the type and number of rodents. With a high number of rodents, the bait is often laid out in small portions.

The eatability and the state of the laid out bait is controlled 2 days after the first layout, if the bait is eaten, a new portion is added. In the future, the presence and condition of the bait is checked at intervals of 3-4 days. Portions of the bait are added or replaced with new ones as they are eaten or contaminated. The control and placement of the bait is stopped if it remains generally intact for a long time, which indicates the absence of rodents.

The remains of uneaten or spoiled bait, as well as the corpses of rodents, are collected in tightly closed containers (plastic bags, glass jars) for subsequent burial or incineration.

PRECAUTIONS

In accordance with Sanitary Rules (SP) 3.5.3.1129-02: all manipulations with the product should be carried out in overalls and rubber gloves, avoiding contact with the mouth, eyes and skin; when working with the product, it is forbidden to smoke, drink and eat, after finishing work, wash your hands with warm water and soap; the product in the places of its application should be stored in places inaccessible to children and pets, separately from food and fodder; the places of application of the product should be numbered, which allows them to be controlled; the remains of bait unsuitable for eating should be removed at the end of the deratization work; Dispose of packaging as municipal waste. Burn or bury substrates and unsuitable containers from under the bait to a depth of at least 0.5 m; the collected animal corpses and the remains of the product must be buried in the ground to a depth of at least 0.5 m (far from water bodies and water supply sources) or burned in the open air (or in a boiler room). It is forbidden to throw the remains of the bait into trash bins and reservoirs; the management and personnel of the processed object should be informed about the presence of rodenticide at the object, the degree of its toxicity and the necessary precautions.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

The shelf life of the product is 18 months in unopened packaging from the date of manufacture. Store in unopened packaging, in a dry and well-ventilated covered storage area, separate from food, feed and fodder, and chemicals with a strong odor.
