DESCRIPTION
Rodenticidal agent BoyKot-Super is a ready-to-use food bait of green (red, blue) color, with a cheese flavor.
COMPOSITION
Contains brodifacum - 0.005% as an active ingredient (DV), as well as bitrex (bitter component), which protects baits from being eaten by birds and reduces the risk of accidental poisoning of people and non-target species of animals. The composition of the product also includes: dye, flavor, preservative, vegetable oils and food fillers.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The agent has a high rodenticidal activity for rats and mice, the eatability of the bait is: 40.1% of the daily diet of rats and 21.6% of mice. Death of rats occurs on 7-11 days (8.2 days on average) and on 8-13 days (8.6 days on average) - mice.
The active ingredient - brodifacum - belongs to the 1st class of extremely hazardous substances according to GOST 12.1.007-76. DL50 0.42-0.56 mg / kg when injected into the stomach of rats, mice - 0.4 mg / kg. When applied to the skin of rabbits, the DL50 is 0.25-0.62 mg / kg; rats - 3.2-5.2 mg / kg. LC50 for compound is very low - 50 mg / m? (spray can). Has a pronounced cumulative effect (K cum. Less than 1). When reapplied to the skin, a skin resorptive effect is established; local irritant properties are weak.
According to the degree of influence on the body of warm-blooded animals with a single introduction into the stomach and application to the skin, BoyKot-Super belongs to the IV class of low-hazard substances; in terms of cumulative properties, it belongs to class I (K cum. less than 1) of extremely hazardous substances according to the Classification of toxicity and hazard of rodenticides. With repeated exposure to the skin, a skin-resorptive effect was revealed. Vapors of the agent are of little danger due to the low volatility of DV - brodifacum.

PURPOSE
The product is intended for the destruction of rats (gray, black, water) and mice on objects of various categories: residential and non-residential buildings, underground structures, basements, cellars, sewers, as well as in children's backrooms (in places that are not accessible to children and household animals) and medical institutions by the personnel of organizations entitled to engage in disinfection activities, and by the population in everyday life.
APPLICATION
The location of the bait and its consumption depend on the habitat of rodents and their numbers.

The bait is placed in places where traces of the vital activity of rodents (gnaws, droppings) are found: on the paths of movement, along walls, partitions, goat holes. Lay out the bait in dry places under shelters (cabinets, equipment, etc.) in adapted containers (bait boxes, drainage pipes, trays, boxes, etc.) or in special containers. The latter is preferred, since increase the eatability of the product, preventing it from being smashed by rodents, and also complicate access to the bait for non-target species of animals.
The bait is laid out at 30-50 g for rats and 10-20 g for mice. If this amount of bait is eaten, then it is enough for the death of rodents.
The laid out bait is inspected for the first 1-2 days after laying, and then with an interval of 1 week. The portions eaten are replaced with new ones, and those untouched by rats or mice are transferred to other places visited by rodents for more than a week.
Contaminated or spoiled bait is replaced with a new one. The work is carried out until the disappearance of rodents.
The bait for water rats is laid out in 15-30 g each in the sewer network, in cellars, basements, underground structures where this species can live.
The bait can be left for a longer period in those and places that are favorable for habitat and movement of rodents or in order to prevent colonization of objects during periods of expected increase in numbers. In this case, observations must be extended, at least 2 times a month.
PRECAUTIONS
to work with the tool are allowed persons at least 18 years old who have passed special instructions, and do not suffer from diseases of the blood and liver.
all manipulations with the product should be carried out in overalls and rubber gloves, avoiding contact with the mouth, eyes and skin.
when working with the product, it is forbidden to smoke, drink, eat; after finishing work, wash your hands with warm water and soap.
the product in the places of its application should be inaccessible to children and pets.
the places of application of the agent should be numbered, which allows them to be controlled.
the remains of the bait unsuitable for eating should be removed at the end of the pest control.
the collected animal corpses and the remains of the product must be buried in the ground to a depth of at least 0.5 m (far from water bodies and water supply sources) or burned in the open air (or in a boiler room). It is forbidden to throw the remains of the bait into trash cans and bodies of water.
FIRST AID IN POISONING
If the drug accidentally gets into the stomach, poisoning is possible, the signs of which are: headache, nausea, nosebleeds and general weakness. First aid measures include: immediate removal of the victim from contact with the product and taking urgent measures to remove it from the body:
if the agent enters the stomach, induce vomiting (rinse the stomach), give activated charcoal (10-12 crushed tablets of activated charcoal per glass of water) and a saline laxative - a tablespoon of Glauber's salt and a glass of water.
if the product gets on the skin, wash it thoroughly with warm water and soap.
if the product gets into the eyes, they should be rinsed abundantly under running water or 2% baking soda solution.
after first aid, as well as in case of signs of poisoning, you should immediately consult a doctor. The antidote is vitamin K3 (vicasol), K1 (phytomenadione) and preparations based on them, used under the supervision of a physician.
STORAGE
The product is stored in a dry, covered warehouse in a closed container, separately from feed and fodder, at a temperature from minus 20 C to plus 40 C. Shelf life - 2 years in unopened manufacturer's packaging.
