DESCRIPTION

Bombay is an insecticidal agent designed to kill cockroaches, fleas, ants, bedbugs, flies, mosquito larvae.

COMPOSITION

The agent as an active ingredient (DB) contains the neonicotinoid acetamiprid (20%), an emulsifier, a crystallization inhibitor, a surfactant, a solvent (water).

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

The product has a high acute insecticidal effect against cockroaches, bedbugs, flies, mosquito larvae. The duration of the residual action on absorbent surfaces is no more than 3 days, on non-absorbent surfaces - more than 21 days.

According to the degree of impact on the body of warm-blooded animals when administered into the stomach, it belongs to the 3rd class of moderately dangerous, when exposed to the skin, to the 4th class of low-hazard agents according to GOST 12.1.007-76. Vapors of agents in saturating concentrations belong to the 4th class of low-hazard substances according to the Criteria for the selection of pest control agents. With a single contact with the skin, a pronounced irritant effect was found. When exposed to the mucous membranes of the eyes, it causes a pronounced irritating effect.

No sensitizing effect has been established.

The working solution in saturating concentrations for inhalation in the area of ​​acute (in the form of an aerosol)) biocidal effect belongs to the 2nd class of highly hazardous in accordance with the Classification of the degree of hazard of disinsection agents. According to the zone of acute biocidal effect (vapors, surface treatment with a brush), working emulsions of the agent belong to the 3rd class of moderately hazardous in accordance with the Classification of the degree of danger of pest control agents. In the area of ​​subacute (in the form of vapors) biocidal effect, it belongs to the 4th class of low-hazard agents according to the Classification of the degree of hazard of disinsection agents. PURPOSE

An insecticidal agent is intended for the destruction of cockroaches, fleas, ants, bedbugs, flies, mosquito larvae at objects of various categories: in industrial and residential premises, at public facilities (hotels, hostels, sports complexes), in basements, at public catering establishments , childcare facilities (except for bedrooms and playrooms), organizations involved in disinfection activities.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

For the extermination of insects, freshly prepared aqueous solutions are used in concentrations not exceeding 0.5% according to DB (table).

For the destruction of cockroaches, 2.5% working aqueous solutions (0.5% for DV) are used, selectively treating surfaces in places of detection, localization and on the paths of insect movement. Particular attention is paid to holes and crevices in walls, in door frames, thresholds, along skirting boards, in claddings, as well as ventilation vents, joints of pipes of water supply, heating and sewerage systems. The consumption of the working aqueous solution should not be less than 100 ml / m2.

Processing is carried out simultaneously in all rooms inhabited by cockroaches. With a high and very high population, adjacent premises are treated for prophylaxis: to prevent migration and subsequent colonization of cockroaches.

Repeated treatments are carried out when insects appear.

For the destruction of gingerbread house and other species of ants, which often penetrate the premises, they process paths of movement ('paths') or places of congestion. Working aqueous solutions are used (Рћ, 1% for DV). The treatments are repeated when ants appear.

To destroy bed bugs, use 2.5% working aqueous solutions (0.5% no DV). With an insignificant population of rooms with bed bugs, only their habitats are treated; with a large population and in the case of wall cladding with dry plaster, the places of their possible resettlement are also subject to processing; cracks along skirting boards, curbs, wallpaper lagging spots, around door, window frames and ventilation grilles, cracks in walls, furniture, as well as carpets on the back.

The consumption of the working aqueous solution is 50 ml / m2 and 100 ml / m2 - with a high number of bugs.

Do not handle bedding!

Simultaneous processing of all rooms is carried out only in dormitories, where frequent introduction of insects is possible. Repeated treatments are carried out when bugs are found.

For the destruction of adults of house flies or other species of flies, glass, frames and door frames - insect landing sites - are irrigated with 0.5% working aqueous solutions (0.1% no DV) prepared on the basis of 10% sugar syrup (100 g sugar per 1 liter water). It is advisable to use a food bait containing O, 1 or 0.25% DV 10% sugar syrup, which can be placed on substrates or coated with a brush at the landing sites of flies in the premises, as well as external walls of buildings, garbage bins, garbage chambers and sandwood installations. The consumption rate is 2-3 substrates of 3-5 r per room of 10 m2 • The consumption of funds depends on the number of flies and the sanitary condition of the treated room. Repeated treatments of npq are carried out when winged flies appear in the room.

To destroy mosquito larvae, O, 1% (in terms of DV) working aqueous solutions are used, which are evenly sprayed over the surface of closed urban water bodies: basements of residential buildings, sewage, fire-fighting tanks or open water bodies of non-fishery value, where mosquito larvae reproduce.

The consumption rate is 100 ml per 1 sq. M. water surface at a depth of 10 cm. Depending on the degree of pollution of the reservoir and its depth, the consumption rate may be increased. Repeated treatments are carried out according to entomological indications: the appearance of live mosquito larvae. The treatments are repeated no more than 1 time per month.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

The treatment of premises should be carried out in the absence of people, pets, birds with open windows. Food, utensils and aquariums should be removed or carefully covered before processing. When processing workshops of industrial enterprises, first remove and carefully cover products that can adsorb the agent. After processing, the room should be well ventilated for at least 1 hour in the absence of people. Processing in children's and food institutions should be carried out on sanitary or weekend days. After disinfestation, the room should be wet cleaned using a soap and soda solution. It is possible to stay indoors in 1-2 hours after the completion of processing.

Premises treated with the agent cannot be used before cleaning, which is carried out later than 3 hours before using the facility for its intended purpose. Cleaning is carried out with gloves using a soda ash solution (30-50 g per 1 liter of water).

Those working with the product must observe the following precautions: before starting to work with the product, the disinfectant instructs them on safety and first aid measures. Persons conducting disinfestation, packaging of the drug, preparation of emulsions must use personal protective equipment.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Store the product in a dry, covered, ventilated warehouse in a closed container at a temperature not lower than O В° C and not higher than plus 30 В° C, away from sources of fire, sunlight, separately from medicines and food products.
