BolfoВ® is an insectoacaricidal collar. Collar BolfoВ® is produced for dogs of large and medium breeds with a length of 70 cm. In appearance, the preparation is a brown polymer tape with a printed series number and 2 or 3 loops for fixing.

INDICATIONS

BolfoВ® collar is intended for the elimination of fleas, lice, lice and ixodid ticks parasitizing on dogs, as well as for protecting animals from their attack, especially in the warm season (during periods of increased activity of parasites). Continuous use of the BolfoВ® collar protects animals from ixodid ticks for 2.5 months, and from insects for 4 months. In rare cases, when using the BolfoВ® collar, it is possible to detect ixodid ticks on an animal, but after 1 to 2 days the parasites spontaneously disappear.

APPLICATION

The BolfoВ® Collar can be used on puppies over 3 months of age. The use of the collar for pregnant and lactating females, if necessary, is possible after consulting a veterinarian. It should not be used by patients with infectious diseases and convalescent animals.

The use of the collar should be carried out no later than 24 hours before the intended walking of the animal in places of possible habitation of ectoparasites (parks, squares, forests). the effect of the drug is manifested after a few hours.

The effectiveness of the drug depends on the condition of the coat, therefore it is recommended to thoroughly wash animals with hard, matted or dirty coat before using it. Frequent contact with water can reduce the effectiveness of the BolfoВ® collar, therefore it is recommended to remove it and put it back on before bathing or washing the animal after the animal's coat is completely dry.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

The action of propoxur leads to disruption of biochemical processes, paralysis and death of ectoparasites.

EFFICIENCY

Propoxur, gradually emerging from the surface of the tape, is transferred to the skin and hair of the animal, providing a long-term insectoacaricidal effect on insects and ixodid ticks parasitizing on dogs and cats.

SIDE EFFECTS

SHELF LIFE
